Is there a way to create a page within a collection?

We have a lot of content knowledge that could be great as a page for training purposes. However, I cannot find a way to add a page to a collection. This way instead of searching or using knowledge agents, our new hires could have access to the cards, videos, webinars, podcasts, slide decks and other information they need about a specific topic all on one page with of course a block on cards you should check out for further discovery and deeper dives. This could also serve a double purpose of helping the new hires learn how to use and navigate through Guru. Any advice would be appreciated.

Extension Not Opening

On occasion I have noticed that that the chrome extension will not pop open.  Our team has attempted to troubleshoot in a variety of ways including signing out/back in, opening a new tab, pinning/unpinning the extension. Has anyone else experienced this?  What tip and or tricks have you found to help nudge the extension to start working?

Confirmation of Knowledge

Hey allNew to Guru. We are looking for an all in one solution to provide our small company with an intranet of sorts to aid productivity and share updates AS WELL AS a way to onboard new team members and provide training and guidance.I have really enjoyed exploring Guru so far. I have requested a sales call, but no answer as of yet to book that in.One issue we have is we really do need to test the knowledge and understanding of our team members particularly when it comes to safety critical operating procedures. Whilst we are able to organise and document these elegantly through different libraries and cards, Guru is definitely lacking that “quiz” function to be able to get a confirmation of that team member’s understanding that we can track and record.One work-around I have seen is to make the group that needs to stay current with that operating procedure the expert for that card, and set the verification frequency to how often we need them to refresh their understanding. Did Summarize Action Items go away?

I used to use the summarize action items when writing a card, and now it doesn’t give me that prompt anymore. Am I missing something?

How to bulk upload/create cards by CSV?

have you guys ever thought about implementing a bulk upload feature via csv? for instance, we just launched a new product and have tons of FAQ's that we are putting in one by one. i would love to have been able to put those in a sheet and upload. i could then fill in the context if necessary. this also came up with our CSM team. they all worked as a group to put together plays for objection handling but they were all built together outside of guru. so they then had to put them in guru but wished to be able to bulk upload

Guru Page Product Feedback

I created my first Guru Page, and the page was fairly intuitive and easy to set up. With that said, I have some feedback that I thought I would share: It would be great if we can add in a clickable navigation bar at the top of the page, and allows you to embed hyperlinks to click into specific headlines located within the page. The goal of this would be to show essentially a table of contents (what’s included on the page) and give users the ability to click directly to a specific part of the page without having to scroll.  The Page Title font is way too small and looks silly, if I’m being totally honest. I recognize that we need a title for the page, but it would be nice to be able to hide the title on the page.  It would also be nice if there were some page formatting options, like adding a line to separate topics (I guess you should do that by uploading an image) or headers with different color backgrounds to show content separation throughout the page.

Will Guru ever have the ability to create Knowledge blocks or reusable content snippets?

Just curious if there is any talk of incorporating knowledge blocks or snippets in Guru?I would be helpful if could have the ability to create reusable content blocks with their own access controls that could be added to multiple knowledge cards.  We often have multiple cards that have repeated instructions so if those instructions needed to be updated we could just update the content block once and all associated cards will reflect the change automatically.

Page content keeps getting deleted!

Is anyone experiencing the same issue? We have created numerous pages, whenever we edit one - another one malfunctions - we have already lost the content of two pages and I am unable to retreive the original content that we have been working on for weeks.Guru reached out to say the issue has been fixed, but we have experienced it again this morning.

More granular permissions/roles

Is there any plan to have more granular roles or permissions in Guru? Currently having to grant full Admin access to allow someone to create pages, and I don’t love that.  It would be great to be able to create custom roles with specific access.

GURU Announcements

We have agents stating they are not receiving the announcement we send out when a new card is created. Is anyone experiencing the same thing? I have verified that they are opted-in, so that is not the issue.

Can't paste image when making a card from the extension

This is really interrupting my workflow because I have to open the web app, wait for it load, search for the card, edit, paste, save. It wouldn’t be quite so bad if there was a way to open the card in the web app directly from the card, but all these extra clicks are killing me. 😅 Why can’t I just paste the screenshot in the card I’m creating?

Assigning Multiple Collections To A Card

The majority of our knowledge agents are tied to only one market collection because this helps the AI provide more accurate information for that specific market. However, while we intentionally avoid adding the Global collection to market-specific knowledge, we still need the ability to access certain Global individual cards.Is it possible to assign multiple collections to a card?

Understanding Guru's Search Algorithm and Tag Relevance

Hi Guru Support,I’m looking for more insight into how Guru’s search algorithm works. Specifically, I’d like to understand:How does Guru rank search results? Are tags factored into the search algorithm, and if so, how much weight do they carry compared to other elements like titles, body content, or metadata? What elements of a Guru card (title, body text, collections, verification status, etc.) influence search ranking the most?Any insights or documentation you can provide would be greatly appreciated!

Assist for Readers settings

Hi there!,There’s an Assist settings under the Collections section where I added a couple of custom actions and I also disabled translations for some languages that we don’t need.When editing I card, those changes are reflected and I can choose the new actions but when reading a card, the translation options don’t reflect my selection, for instance, I disabled Chinese but still allow readers to translate to Chinese and I added Italian but I can’t see it in the Summarize/Translate card dropdown.I’ve been looking for an Assist settings just for Readers but couldn’t find anything.How can I edit the options we present to readers in the Summarize/Translate dropdown?Thanks

Submit company wide announcements

The problem: We have multiple slack channels and departments that are constantly making changes to product and systems.  Often these conversations are with a select group of people not realizing that many other departments could be impacted by these updates.  If you are not in ‘the slack’ channel and do not get tagged, you may miss something very valuable to prep your team or create resources/communications regarding this upcoming change. The Question: Is there a central submission area for the entire organization to submit a ticket for the department's upcoming changes? Could these could be deposited to a central location, where teams can look at a glance in case they need to put measures/training in place for these upcoming departmental changes? Could these be pushed or tagged if you absolutely know a certain needs to be aware of this? But, again, the most important is that this lives on one central repository for all teams and departments to regularly reference.

Knowledge Checks in Guru - integrations?

We use Guru for all of our knowledge management but have noticed we need to rely on a separate tool (LearnUpon) to create knowledge checks and it requires manually moving Guru card info over into this other tool (to assess understanding of Guru materials). I see this isn’t possible within Guru, but is there a Guru integration that could do this? We are specifically looking to use this for training new hires and new processes.

Do you have your Guru content in multiple languages at your companies? If so, what solutions do you have for it or what problems are you facing? We now have multiple boards for two different languages and cards with the same content linking to each other.

Google slides

Hi team,We added some Google slides as an iframe and I added the Google drive folder to the source but I don’t seem to be able to get the correct content. Trending topics when using workflow in Slack

Hi there,We have a slack channel where we get the team members to fill in a request form (using slack workflow) whenever they have a question/escalation. I applied trending topics but it doesn’t seem to use any content mentioned in there. Is there a way for the trending topics feature to use that content? Hi Guru Community, My team consists of 6 members, and we work in a company that primarily uses M365 for collaboration. We rely on Teams for chat and video meetings, Outlook for emails, and SharePoint for managing shared documents. We’re looking for a solution to help us with the following: 1. Team Collaboration: We want an easy way for team members to share their work updates and discuss shared challenges or tasks. 2. Team Management: The team lead needs a clear overview of each team member's ongoing tasks and progress. However, some personal chats in Teams should be excluded from this process. 3. Meeting Summaries: We are also curious if Guru offers any AI-powered features for summarizing Teams video meetings or supports integration with other solutions that can handle this task. Given these needs, would Guru be a suitable solution for us?
