Can you exclude Cards with a specific tag in search?

Is there a way to exclude cards with a specific tag in your search? For example if we mark cards with #experiment because they're part of a test, can we then search and exclude that tag?

Unable to reopen and respond to resolved comments

Hi team!Has something change on the option to reopen and respond in a thread to a resolved comment?We’ve had a few users report to our team this week that after we respond to them, if they want to reopen and respond in a thread, they get an error message, see screenshot below:

Initiate Guru answers using a custom Slack emoji

During our trial period, we are currently exploring the various features of Guru. I have come to understand that in order to search for knowledge base articles within Slack, we can either type "@guru" or "/guru" followed by the desired content. By doing so, Guru will retrieve all relevant information from its knowledge base and display it within Slack.However, I am curious if there is an alternative method where we can use a custom emoji instead of "@guru" or "/guru" to initiate this process. If such an option exists, could you kindly explain how it works? This would be a significant feature for us moving forward with Guru. Thank you for your assistance.

Cannot move between collections

I’m getting an error message when using the card manager to move a few cards between collections. Browser extension questions

Hey all - few questions if somebody can assist?I asked this question awhile ago on a separate thread. Am I missing a one click option from the browser extension that opens a window to the webapp. Particularly if I need some functionality I can’t do in the extension? Is there a way to remove the Guru icon when the extension has been open but collapsed that I am missing? I know you can toggle it from side to side and click and drag it vertically, but anything to remove it altogether? Also, when you move the location of the Guru icon vertically, it doesn’t seem to persist across new browser windows (so new window, open extension, when collapsing the extension the tab doesn’t seem to collapse at the same place.)Thanks!

Ordered list numbering issue

Is there a way to prevent ordered lists from restarting at 1 when they are separated by an image? I put screenshots between ordered list items and I don't want the list to restart. Thank you!

When do Guru card links open in new tabs?

I’m struggling to figure out how this works. We have a lot of Guru card links in our cards, and sometimes when we click the links it opens as a little window on top of the card we’re currently on. But sometimes it opens as a completely new tab. Does anyone understand the rhyme or reason there? And if so, is there a way to set a preference?

Auto Archived cards linked to other cards

I have not fully embraced auto archive yet but want to give it a try. In order to build out my expectations and SOP accurately when reviewing “soon to be” auto archived cards, do I need to ensure the card is unlinked to all/any other cards to prevent a negative user experience. For example:1. If the auto archived card is linked to another published card, will the link remain present on the other card or will it be automatically removed for any/all cards when auto archived?2. If an archived Guru card link remains on another linked card, typically the title of the card is present if using Guru link to another Guru card feature. I assume this could potentially allow the archived card link (title) to appear in search results or generative AI source card, Is this correct?

How to create card with html content and images via API?

Hello there,we would like to publish cards via the REST API. The content of those cards should be a mix of text and images. As I'm new to the API and not too experienced with these topics, here my very basic question:How to upload images via the REST API to be used on a card?The documentation shows that it is possible to attach objects, but properties such as “id” or “link” suggest that the attachment has to be already uploaded. Are these optional parameters just for the case one wants to use an already uploaded file?Are the images expected to be embedded in a multipart post-request? If yes, how to reference them in the html sources?As an example, when using the WordPress REST API, one can upload each image individually and receive an ID and URL for each image. This can then get incorporated in the source when eventually publishing the post. How is this realized with the Guru API?Many thanks in advance!

How do you embed an image in markdown?

Hi, Was recently trying to embed an image in a collapsible section - where the image part of the markdown looked something like this: `<img src="...image.png" width="200" height="200" />`The problem is whatever image I put in markdown expands to the width of the guru page → meaning I’m unable to make the image smaller than the width of the guru page (even if I tweak the width and height values in the markdown)…. I noticed in a past Q+A  → it was stated that Guru uses the `CommonMark` / github flavor of markdown - however, I tried my markdown in both CommonMark and github and minimizing the image size works there --- but not in Guru for some reason. It’s important for me to have the image embedded via markdown due to the need to embed the image within a collapsible section.  Please let me know if there is anything I can do or if I’m doing something wrong.

Can't figure out Webhook Filter format or what values are available to filter on

I’m trying to set up a webhook to fire from Guru every time a card with tagId=1234 is updated. I can’t quite figure out the format for the “filter” property in the body of my JSON payload.I see the simple example here, but I can’t find a list of what event types are available to provide as parameters.The payload I’m working with is:{ "deliveryMode":"SINGLE", "targetUrl":"https://myURL.com", "status":"ENABLED", "filter":"card-updated, tag-1234-567-890 exists"}which of course is not working. It returns: { "description" : "Webhook filter contains unknown events"}Any help here would be appreciated. Thanks!

How to restore all archived cards AND to place back in designated folders?

Hello- seeking Help from Guru team as the “contact Guru support” button is not working. We have another incident where someone accidentally archived ALL cards vs their own. I can see over 5,000 cards archive but I only want to restore the ones archived within the past couple of hours or by the person who has archived them all. When I tried to restore all cards from one collection, it restored them but did not go in their designated folders.Can someone please assist me asap?Thanks!

I was recently using the quotation marks in the global search bar for an exact search, but was getting results that didn’t contain the exact phrase “on grid”. Does the use of prepositions or something about the number of characters in a phrase affect exact searching?

Publish vs. Publish and Verify info dates

Hi all - I think I’m late to the game on this from the recent changes. On the old publish experience, authors could see the difference in the verification date based on the action if they clicked the ⓘ icon near the Publish vs. Publish and Verify options. Is there anywhere else they can see that distinction in dates? I just want to make sure I’m not overlooking it. If not, I’ll update my users.
