Hi, Assume we have long page of GURU card with very long steps and process flows..Can we have AI chat Box where by user can type in simply what they want to search & point to.So that AI will provide summary and point direction the information we looking for. Now Chat GPT works likes its search the information from varies search engine & provide us the summary or scrip or information we need. We need similar this feature to be in GURU.The reason why we asking this, we have too many cards almost 1000 within one collection. So, the bot might can help to provide summary or simply the steps for the users. ThanksRagunathan

Hello… Is there some sort of delay in the import process for Confluence .zip files? I uploaded 3 of these about an hour ago to one of my Collections, but it hasn’t appeared yet. (The notification said it may take half an hour, and it’s certainly longer than that already.) Thanks for any update! Lloyd

I would like to export a full collection but filter out all the unverified cards.  Following the docs, it seems as if I need to go over the downloaded collection and call GET card on each individual card to get that information Any other suggestions? 

Is it possible to update an existing card from Slack?  For ex, if there’s a card with weekly updates and we want to append another update. Existing card has: Updates for week of July 1July 2 Bananas in the break room July 3 Stop using reply-all about the bananas in the break room And then on Slack on July 4 there’s a message that we want to be added at the end: “We’re getting apples tomorrow!” How can we send that message so that the card would then look like this, with the new update at the end? I noticed that drag & dropping images to another location in your card is not possible. I need to delete the image and re-upload it again. This is ok if you have the files somewhere stored on your PC, but if you open an older card and you want to move the media it’s not possible because you don’t have those specific files anymore on a local folder.Can we make this happen?

CONTEXT:Today marks the start of our technology team making the full switch to using Guru. Thank you for the service and I really appreciate the community forum here to ask questions. As an Engineer that loves good design, I would like to leave some personal feedback from my first experience with the web app to see if:Are there ways to use Guru I have not yet discovered that would help my experience? If not, do other folks see the same UI/UX friction I do and have recommendations? PROBLEM:The idea of cards seems so powerful. But the navigation and ways to visually show them leave a lot to be desired. For me it makes using Guru feel sub par to every other modern tool I’ve used like Notion, etc. I can sum these up in a few points:Navigating collections have no way to visually see all cards at any point of the tree structure. Our organization recently adopted Guru and today was my first day browsing our new KMS and all the hard work fellow engineers did to get content migrated over. I was somewhat surprised that the navigation structure described here was very hard to use:What I expected to see was something similar to Notion’s gallery view:https://www.notion.so/help/galleriesIs there a way to view cards like this in Guru?

The spreadsheet option to upload content to Collections has allowed for “Boards” to be specified in the spreadsheet as a column, which has been helpful for organizing content. With the “boards” being replaced with “folders”, will this content migration feature disappear? How should import spreadsheets be formatted going forward?

Hello!This might be a weird situation. We think that the editing/designing possibilities are quite limited in the Guru Card Editor. Therefore, we have made our card design more intractable and flexible by utilizing Markdown (HTML/CSS).Although, it seems that our cards are “rendered” differently on the website, compared to the Guru Extension. In the Analytics User Drilldown, I see X many card were verified by a user during a specified time. Does this only count verifications that are currently assigned to that user? Or, does it count any verification that was made within a timeframe regardless of who the current verifier is?  For ex: An agent verifies a card, then an Admin goes in and fixes a typo thus claiming the most current verification. Does the agent still get credit in analytics for having verified the card?  Thanks in advance, y’all!

Hi there! My team and I enjoy using Guru, and as I was formatting a card, changing the color of my text, I wondered, “Hm, is this color providing enough contrast for my readers? Is my content going to be accessible?”I searched “accessibility” in the help center, and I didn’t find any relevant articles. I was a little surprised. I haven’t been a big user of the new community yet, but I do see accessibility is on the roadmap. Not a lot of content is tagged “accessibility” for searching, however.Will Guru be focusing on making card content accessible? I’m trying to download all of my cards in a given collection using the API. I’m using the following command:curl -u COLLECTION ID:COLLECTION TOKEN \    --request GET \    --url "https://api.getguru.com/api/v1/search/query" \    --header 'accept: application/json' This works, but the JSON I get back doesn’t include the titles. I get the id, content, and a ton of other information for each card, but no titles (one of the three properties I actually need here). 😔 Is this a bug in Guru’s API? Or does anybody know how to specifically request the inclusion of the title property?

Hey Guru Community 🤙Looking for some best practices or insight. Our company has high product release velocity which makes our cards outdated fairly quickly. Typically, I would rely on the KCS process to keep our cards up-to-date, however, our support team’s volume is also high which makes confirming whether a resolution is correct before sending out to customers every time unsustainable. Providing incorrect resolutions are also a poor customer experience so I want to prevent that as much as possible. I am curious how other companies proactively update KCS Guru cards after a feature release or if there are any resources that can point me to the right direction. My initial idea: I am thinking about creating a process where our SMEs (who create external help center articles for product releases) tag top copied Guru cards that are impacted by feature releases and have our CCAs work off that queue. Good morning. I have been using the free version of Guru for the past 30 days and I’ve watched several of the Guru help resources. We are going to launch Guru in July and there is something that I don’t find back particularly.My intention is that Guru, next to a cup of coffee, becomes an essential part of the morning routine of our employees. Besides starting up your e-mail client, Guru is the first thing you open on your browser. It should not only be a knowledge base but also function as a place where people find newsletters, company announcements, quick links, features cards, success stories on new projects or fares… etc.As I see it now, the Guru homepage is a way to push some articles to you which might be relevant. Hi Guru Community! Our company has many unverified cards, which need to be sorted out. Therefore, we looked up the statistics using the Card Manager. I noticed a problem with the numbers in the Card Manager and Analytics. After this update, the Trust Score moved from the Dashboard to the Analytics tab. What is the problem?The Trust Score can’t be measured easily by using the Card Manager. Example: Our Trust Score is now 56% (see screenshot). According to the Card Manager (top left), we have 1951 cards in total. When I filter the amount of unverified Card, there are 625 out of 1951 unverified cards, which is 32%, meaning a Trust Score of 68%. This is different from our actual Trust Score. It turned out that 1951 is the amount of all Cards, including the archived Cards. To identify the real Trust Score, I have to deduct the number of archived Cards from the total number of Cards. I would measure 625/ (1950-539) = 44%, which results in the actual Trust Score of 56%.    This is a problem b

Hi All - I’m currently wondering how people are encouraging team members to get knowledge out of Slack when appropriate (in our case, when knowledge is stable and not as much a WIP or draft)? Slack is our primary communication tool, but we have important info that never makes it out and into our KB in Guru. Perhaps I set up a channel where employees can link to Slack conversations that need to get in Guru, and I can then start a card for the appropriate team and assign an individual or group to verify that migration of knowledge? This will be more helpful when collaborative drafts are live because then I don’t even have to publish them. But I think a major key is how do I encourage/facilitate action?What are other knowledge mangers/teams/companies doing? What workflows have been successful?TIA!@Michael Mocerino

Hi all!  I’ve seen a few similar posts but nothing that exactly matches my question: What are some tips to make sure verifiers get their content verified within a reasonable amount of time?  I think our verifiers have gotten into the habit of ignoring notifications, and they don’t visit their “tasks” as requested. The more cards expire, the more overwhelming it might seem. As a result, I think verification is just falling off of the to-do lists of our busiest employees.  It seems they know what is being asked of them, and they understand the importance of verification-- but they don’t have the time. In some cases, the consequence is they’ll rush to reverify when the content hasn’t actually been reviewed.  Here’s what I’ve tried: Flagged low trust scores with verifiers and synched with them individually to see if I can help clarify any processes.
