We are thrilled to share that we are launching a new Guru Resource Center next week, which will serve as a central location for all of Guru’s support offerings, including direct 1:1 support and the Guru Help Center. We wanted to give you a heads-up about this change, as part of this update will include transitioning from having you reach out to us via an in-app chat to working with us over email. What will change? Beginning next week, our Technical Support, Product Specialist, and Billing teams will now be communicating with you via email, either after you contact us via email, or after filling out a new ‘Contact Us’ form in the Guru Help Center. Hi Community! 👋 I wanted to share some updates that will be coming soon to the Chrome browser extension. You’ve probably noticed a lot of changes inside of Guru’s web app, and now we’re giving the extension some love. We believe that the browser extension is an important part of Guru’s promise to work where teams are already working, and we want to make the extension simpler, faster, and more effective to use.  Part of this project has been improving the accessibility of the extension. With this release, you will see improved keyboard and screen reader support within the extension. This simplified extension also makes room for exciting feature updates we’re currently working on. Happy Guru Anniversary! Congratulations on one whole year with Guru, AND finding yourself at step one of the Guru Anniversary Challenge.  First, we’ll focus on your Guru adoption. Your Guru adoption rate shows the proportion of users who have performed an active event (i.e. a Card view, copy, search, verify, or edit) to the total number of users. The time period and number of users are determined by the filters you set. To measure your average adoption rate in your past year with Guru:  Head to your Analytics dashboard in Guru.  Underneath the overview tap, adjust the date filter to say “In the last 1 year.” Note: you may want to adjust this, depending on what window of time you’d like to measure with Guru. Decide on a timeline and keep it consistent for reporting to come! Hey Guru Community! If your company uses Slack to communicate, there’s a lot of valuable information zipping through your channels on any given day. We know that it’s difficult to get a holistic view of what your teams are talking about and where they need more help, so we are building towards a future where all the most valuable information from Slack gets surfaced and captured in Guru. We’re building a new feature that will allow Guru to sift through Slack for you and help surface important insights. With this new feature, you’ll be able to identify trending topics in your busiest Slack channels, view the messages associated with those topics, and easily transfer the content from those messages directly to new or existing Guru cards, allowing you to unlock the most in-demand information for your entire team.  

Looking to celebrate all the folks on your team who make the outcomes of Guru possible? You’re in the right place!  Now that you’ve identified honorees, you can make your Guru Awards! Make a copy of this slide deck (they're each individual awards) and fill in the proper names - the winners & your name. Adjust design to incorporate your company branding (optional) Print them out (try to find nicer paper) and make sure to print single-sided. Or, if this is virtual, save each slide as an individual PDF to send to folks.Once you’ve created your awards, head to the next step to plan your Guru Awards ceremony. 

Something I’ve discovered is that it’s impossible to write Guru cards without doing my happy Guru dance at my desk, which my coworkers are now delighted by as we’re back in the office together more. 😄
