Hi Guru Community! As you’ve probably already seen in the Community and in our recent webinar, Guru is investing in exciting new AI features that we hope will help you achieve your knowledge management goals more efficiently than ever before. I’m excited to share more info on Guru’s next generative AI functionality: Answers. With this functionality, users ask a question and get back an easy-to-understand answer pulled from Guru Cards and Knowledge Syncs. Answers elevates Guru’s already great search experience by eliminating the traditional steps needed to get just the right answer back — and massively decreasing the time people spend seeking out information they need to do their jobs. The experience is like popular AI tools your team may already be using, but securely connected to your company’s trusted information. Users will even be able to see the sources used to generate an answer, so they can dig deeper and get more context if they need it. As if that wasn't exciting enough, futur

Hi Community members 👋 Over the last couple of months, the rapid advances in machine learning and AI technology have changed the way we think about building software. Here at Guru, Generative AI has opened up a new world of possibilities when it comes to knowledge management.Today, I’m excited to announce our newest generative AI functionality: Assist. In this first iteration, Assist will help authors create and share knowledge by quickly and efficiently summarizing long-form content into quick, bite-sized knowledge highlights. In the near-term future, Assist will also be able to help content creators by improving their writing, adjusting for tone and voice, and even translating their knowledge into other languages.Interested in bringing generative AI into your Guru workflow? We’re opening a limited, Early Access program for this new feature in the coming days. If you’re interested in participating in this private program, please apply using this Google Form. Hi Guru Community! We’re conducting research around our Verification Digest email, and would love to speak to any users who currently receive this weekly email from Guru. Please note that this email currently only goes to users who do not have Slack notifications enabled–if you do have Slack notifications enabled, you get the same round-ups directly in Slack. All opinions are welcomed! Please share a comment in the thread if you’d like to share your feedback, and we’ll reach out with a link to schedule a time to chat.
Hey Guru Community! If your company uses Slack to communicate, there’s a lot of valuable information zipping through your channels on any given day. We know that it’s difficult to get a holistic view of what your teams are talking about and where they need more help, so we are building towards a future where all the most valuable information from Slack gets surfaced and captured in Guru. We’re building a new feature that will allow Guru to sift through Slack for you and help surface important insights. With this new feature, you’ll be able to identify trending topics in your busiest Slack channels, view the messages associated with those topics, and easily transfer the content from those messages directly to new or existing Guru cards, allowing you to unlock the most in-demand information for your entire team. We’re opening a limited, private beta for this new feature in the coming days. If you’re interested in participating in this private program, please apply using this Google Form
Hi Community!I’m Laura and I’m on the Product Management team here at Guru. Historically I’ve been focused on search and discovery–you may have seen me jump into conversations related to those areas here before. Recently, along with Kate, from our Design team, I’ve started to look into a new area and we are at the point where it would be wonderful to have your input on what we’re considering. Generally the goals of working on this new area are to: Help you work confidently by surfacing information that’s valuable but not getting explicitly sent to you through channels like announcements. Help you keep up with changes to information you rely on so you know you have the most current information available. Overall this should reduce the effort it takes to find information you need, and make it easier for you to stay up to date. To give you a clearer sense of what the outcome of this research might be, we are currently looking to understand how people interact with favorites, how people
Hi all! Product Manager from Guru here.I’ve started a research project looking into how our customers manage users and groups at a large scale, especially if they do so without SSO and SCIM, or if there are gaps in SSO and SCIM that need to be filled manually. Are you a knowledge manager, CX leader, or sales enablement person who finds yourself spending too much time adding and removing users from different groups in Guru?Or maybe an IT admin who has to do manual things in Guru that you think should be automated?I want to talk to you! Please feel free to share your experiences in this discussion, and let me know if you’d be open to a 30 minute Zoom conversation with me.I appreciate you!
