March was a busy month for us, shipping these updates and working on some exciting changes around permissions, the AITC and more. So read all about it and come back next month for what should be a very exciting edition!

Answer Details

Answer Details is a MAJOR upgrade to the Answers user experience that provides context about how a particular answer was arrived at. You can now see what keywords were used for the search/answer, what sources were used, and by far the most exciting: a detailed explanation of how the keywords and sources were used to generate the answer. 

Smart Unfurl 

Smart unfurl allows you to easily add rich media to cards and pages simply by pasting a link! When pasting a Guru card, Guru profile, Google link or external link - there is now a small popover menu that allows the link to be pasted in a number of different formats.

Google Drive Folderless Sync 

When connecting Google Drive you now have the option to leave the folder selection blank to sync everything the authorized account (i.e. the account they're using to create the source) has access to. When a folder is selected, all documents and subfolders in that folder will be synced.

Knowledge Agents are now Using 10 Sources

After doing some internal testing, we found that increasing the number of sources for answers from 3 to 10 led to spectacular results, so we made that change across the board!  10 sources allows for more context to be passed through, resulting in higher quality answers from Knowledge Agents!
