More granular permissions/roles

Is there any plan to have more granular roles or permissions in Guru? Currently having to grant full Admin access to allow someone to create pages, and I don’t love that.  It would be great to be able to create custom roles with specific access.

Policy review and approval workflow with versioning

I see a lot of content on draft and publishing approval workflows, but I’d like to know if a really robust policy management workflow with periodic review comments and approvals retention is a capability that can exist solely within Guru, or if you need to leverage the integrations with other apps like Google docs or Confluence?

Make it possible to link directly to a subheaderComplete

It needs to be possible to link directly to a subheader in a Guru card so you can point people directly to that section of a card. While cards should be short and easily digestible, they’ll still need subheader content, and we should be able to direct users immediately to that content without them needing to scroll. It is really important to be able to not only reference headers between Guru cards, but also link to them externally, such as in a Slack message.

Pressing Escape While Editing a Card Should Act More LogicallyOpen

Hi. I noticed pressing escape while editing a card immediately closes it, even if there’s a popup like when inserting a link. When it closes the card it also replaces the current URL without adding it to the browser tab history so I can’t just press back to just go back to the card (I have to search for it again). Please consider making escape close popups and add to the browser tab history when the card is closed.Thanks.

Adding collaborators on cardsOpen

I find the process of adding collaborators to a card very confusing, and not very helpful (for us at least). It doesn’t make sense to me that I have to somehow (I forget how every time) add a collaborator in order to make a comment on a draft card that’s directed to someone. Why can’t it just add that person as a collaborator (if that’s actually required) when I add a comment directed to them? Also, the fact that if I publish a draft, it clears all my comments also doesn’t make sense to me. I want the team to be able to see the content and use it, even if the content isn’t “complete”. It seems to me that it doesn’t really mimic the real world where I’d just want to publish something, with intact comments directed at people, and then adjust it as I get their feedback. Going someplace else to manage drafts seems like an unnecessary extra step that actually hinders collaboration and feels very waterfall.  Perhaps there’s some feature functionality that this was intended to support that I’

Curious if anyone else is experiencing bugs and poor quality of AI answers?

Since Guru pushed an update to the AI Agent Center (fka “AI Training Center”), my team is reporting highly inaccurate or nonsensical answers, and I’m having a really hard time using the training center to correct answers or pull in the proper sources. When I try to use the AI Agent Center to “boost” the proper sources, the AI is still pulling in the wrong source and giving an incorrect answer no matter what I do, so I’m unable to resolve flagged answers even though the correct answer is right there in the source documentation.The knowledge agents also seem to be responding weirdly to prompts, so I had to remove prompts and go back to the default esttings.I’ve had to instruct my team not to use AI Answers right now (which is their most-used Guru feature) and to only rely on actual source material for the time being. Is anyone else having a deprecated experience ever since the updates were pushed yesterday (May 13th)? Custom Filters in AnalyticsOpen

Hi there,I’d like to request more custom filters on the analytics page. A few key things I look for I’m not able to do and have to download reports and manually build in formulas.For exampleCombining events by user and most viewed card dashboards Right now I can see what cards they viewed and how frequently, but not when Total card views (or other actions) by user Right now I can drill down to one specific user, but if I want a report of the unique card views by each person in an entire group, that’s not easily filterable   Having more control of how to filter and parse data would be really helpful  Thank you!

Feature Request: Add a "Latest Guru Cards" on the Home menu.

Having a “Latest Guru cards” section in the Home screen would improve the browsing experience a lot. I usually read the Guru cards but not always favorite them. I would love to find a section called Latest or similar to know what are the newest trends.

Enable Fallback Answers When Documentation Is IncompleteOpen

We’re testing the new knowledge agent and hit a limitation: the agent refuses to answer anything that isn’t explicitly covered in our uploaded docs, even when a sensible, clearly sign-posted “best-guess” answer would be helpful.Our ideal workflow: Primary – If the answer exists in the docs, the agent cites it explicitly. What is the problem? Transferring ownership of cards is too manual. If an employee leaves the organization, Guru will prompt an admin to transfer card ownership (this is good), but this is an issue if the former employee authored 100+ cards across multiple collections and boards. Who is it a problem for? HR/People Ops - creates another item on the employee offboarding checklist Guru admin - needs to make sure all cards are owned Department leaders - help identify all knowledge experts. “Who should own this card next?” How do you solve the problem today? Guru AI Answers! - Archive unrelated questions from Slack appComplete

On occasion Guru’s AI Answers! bot in our Slack channel picks up on random side questions, or ones that are too specific, or do not need answers in our knowledge base.Our team is fully remote and used to casually ask questions throughout the day. It could be said that we should ask the team to be careful about asking questions, but I want to remove any barriers to asking questions.It would be really helpful to have an Admin level permission to be able to archive Question/Answers that are too specific, or we deem don’t need to be addressed in our knowledge base.

Guru & Zendesk - AI Suggest is no longer available. Does the new Enterprise AI Search surface cards automatically in Zendesk?

Hey folks - I work in Customer Support and I got a new job recently. I got them to get Guru because of the AI Suggest feature. I hear it’s being sunsetted in place of Enterprise AI.AI Suggest was really helpful because it looked at everything on the screen and was incredibly accurate with the cards it suggested. Guru was a repository for bugs, internal troubleshooting, and a sync with our Zendesk Help Center.I just watched the Enterprise AI Search webinar and it was only focused on using it for things like employees looking up how to do a certain process or asking questions in Slack. At my previous job and this one, we get quite complex tickets. The ability of Guru to read that and suggest cards was invaluable.I’m not clear how this Enterprise AI Search will work with Zendesk tickets now, if it all. I haven’t been able to try it yet as I reached out to Guru support to trial the Enterprise plan for AI Suggest so I could show its value to the team and leadership. That’s when I was told t

Being able to Rebrand the URL of a GURU CardOpen

We would like to have the Option of a “rebranding-Package”.What I mean by that is to change the URL of a GURU Card into an onbrand URL. For example instead of “app.Guru.com/…/...” it should be “app.myCompany.com/…/...” This way our customers aren´t confused, if they need to register at “GURU” or if they got redirected to the wrong website. The public knowledge base of your company keeps being “onbrand” that way

Allow folders filtering for source syncOpen

Hello,We would like to use a Google Drive as a data source, where all our data is gathered (including some that should not be synchronized with Guru). So we would like Guru to ignore certain folders. Bug - Duplicate cards appearing randomly in the same and other collections upon updateOpen

Cards are duplicating themselves when I update them/reverify them. The duplicate consistently appears outside of the folder structure of whichever collection I find it in, which makes it a bit easier to catch. These duplicates are not appearing under the “duplicate detector.” Example below.  A similar issue occurred when I imported a large group of Word docs. All 250 documents appeared in two different collections, despite uploading them directly to one collection. It was very time consuming to delete them because the Card Manager does not sort by collection, nor can multiple cards be selected in the main area of the collection.

Bug - Guru AI answers does not accurately read from tablesOpen

Guru’s AI answers functionality doesn’t accurately read information from tables. I’ve tried adjusting the tables many times, but I consistently see the AI giving blatantly wrong answers to questions that are clearly marked as Yes/No within a table. I’ve written into Support about this, and they have acknowledged it as a bug and suggested that I move everything into Google Sheets or translate the tables into full sentences. Both of these solutions seem inadequate to me and would require a huge lift to migrate a ton of content that we just put into Guru back out of Guru and then link it as a source.  Is there an update on when the AI will be able to reliably read content from tables? Or any guidelines as to how to make the tables more legible to the AI answers?

Enable Google Shared Drive as a Top-Level Source in GuruOpen

We would like to request the ability to add an entire Google Shared Drive as a source in Guru, rather than being limited to selecting individual folders. The current limitation creates significant administrative overhead, as every time a Sales team member creates a new folder, an Admin must manually add it as a source in Guru.The current workaround would be to create a generic “AI-Guru” folder and consolidate all sales-related folders within it. However, this approach is not ideal, as it disrupts the logical structure of the Shared Drive. External URL Data SourcesOpen

Please develop the ability to link to external sources for information.  There should be some sort of generic website scraper that can be added as sources for Guru.  It doesn’t need to necessarily scrape an entire website, though I’m sure there could be use cases for that.  I’m thinking more along the lines of providing URL(s) to specific pages or articles to then create cards from, including text and images.Example:There are times, such as for IT Support, where it would be extremely helpful to be able to link to a service providers knowledge base or help center directly to ensure that documentation is kept up-to-date.  This would remove that burden from internal staff yet would still allow that type of knowledge to be sourced by Guru for our employee’s searches.

Add disclaimer to this Guru card Shopify Payments - Troubleshooting - Merchant Account ID RequestWon't Do

As a newbie, it was misleading to use this Guru card because it did not specify how to get the Merchant ID if they are using 3rd-party Payment provider. I tried to look for other Guru card about Merchant Account ID Request for 3rd-party Payment provider, but I cannot find any.
