Hi there!

It is not clear from the documentation if a user can be part of another team’s groups.

For example for this endpoint `https://api.getguru.com/api/v1/groups` (doc link) the description says:

Returns all groups on the team.

Can I assume from this statement that a user can only get access to collections therefore they cannot be part of some group outside of its team? 

There is also this change announced recently that allows an individual to be assigned access to a collection: 

As of June 30, 2025, Groups are optional. You can decide to instead assign individual users to objects.
