Allow users to mention a group without being that group?

Hi there - 

Can someone only mention a group if they’re in the group? 

I wanted a way for someone to be able to @ the Guru Admins on Card comments but it seems they can only do that if they are also in the Guru Admin group. 

Am i missing a setting or option somewhere?

Hi @Siobhan Hyser ! Great question. The group needs to have access to the collection where the card lives to be able to be @mentioned.
