As for the difference to Knowledge Triggers, it seems simpler. The pin only lets you associate a card with a website URL, not specific text on the page. This broad stroke approach could be wonderful for some sites, but if your team uses something like Salesforce then you'll likely want a more granular way of surfacing cards.
