What I do is

1. Save desired image to computer as .jpg or .png I usually have more success with .png images not breaking long term). 
2. In your card enter the text you want 
3. Where you want your image to land use shortcut ctrl+alt+i and you will get the image prompt
4. Follow path to desired image

You can also use the controls at the top of the card 

I found the Guru Academy had some great tutorials for card creation, specifically the Collection Owner/Author + Quick Tips 101 courses - you should check them out!
