What is the problem? Currently, cards default to 3 month verification interval and this is not changeable.
-
Who is it a problem for? Admins who verify cards.
-
How do you solve the problem today? Click the verification symbol, Click the verification interval dropdown menu, select the verification interval. 3 add’l clicks on every…single…card.
-
How would you ideally solve the problem? Allow a user to change the default setting for card verification intervals.
-
How big is the problem (business impact, frequency of impact etc.)? Daily annoyance.
Updating cards every three months is tedious and unnecessary. Opting for a longer time period would be genius.
This is a seriously annoying issue. None of our cards require such frequent verification period, they are all good for at least a year. We have to change it manually on every single card.
It’s really ridiculous this suggestion is a year old and still has not been addressed.
Hi everyone! My name is Sydney, and I’m on the Guru PM team. We’re doing some research around our verification feature right now, and I’d love to dive deeper into some of the ideas shared in this thread—if anyone would like to discuss verification feedback, please grab some time on my calendar!
Hi
That being said, I thought I’d let those who may not yet know that you can set a different verification interval for each template you create. So our “policy” template has a cycle of once per year and our general “card” template is pre-set to every 6 months. I think we have a specific date (1/1) set for all “announcement” messages as well. That’s been a really useful workaround for our team!
That’s a great point
This has been a pain point in my company. We would love to be able to set the default to something like 6 months for all cards moving forward. Or even better, have the drop-down be blank and prompt the user to select the most ‘appropriate’ interval for the type of content - rather than the user just blinding pressing next and setting everything to 3 months.
