Encouraging feedback for answersOpen

Our users aren't clicking thumbs up for correct answer, despite our efforts to encourage clicking Thumbs Up/Down.  I spend time markings answers “correct” - time I would rather spend on other Guru tasks. Suggestion have a popup appear (before they leave that screen) asking if the answer was helpful (same thumbs up, thumbs down) but something they have to act on before leaving the screen.

Improve the "review cards that link to this one" when attempting to archive a cardOpen

The current process for reviewing linked cards when you try to archive a card is clunky.You click Archive on Card A. It takes you to a page that says “Before archiving this Card, review the # Guru Cards that contain links to this one.” When you click on that link, it opens a list of cards in a new tab. When you click on one of those links, it opens that card (Card B) in the same tab where you were reviewing the list of cards. Click edit on Card B. There is nothing that highlights where the link is, so you have to manually search for it. This isn’t a huge issue as you can usually just ctrl+f but if Card B is large, or if the link doesn’t have the same name as Card A, it can be a little annoying. Once you edit Card B to remove/update the link, it takes you back to Card B. When you click the X on Card B, it takes you back to Card A, but not the list of cards that link to card A that you started on. You have to go back to your original tab and click “review the # Guru Cards that contain

Add company branding to public cardsWon't Do

Public cards are great however, if they could be aligned with the company brand as they are outward facing, that would be great. Would love to see options to adjust the style of public cards (fonts, logo, colour scheme etc).

Shareable links in Guru

Hi,Does anyone know if I can limit the amount of time for sharing Guru cards via the shareable with public link feature? Also, is there a way to limit the sharing to certain email domain users? Thanks!

When do Guru card links open in new tabs?

I’m struggling to figure out how this works. We have a lot of Guru card links in our cards, and sometimes when we click the links it opens as a little window on top of the card we’re currently on. But sometimes it opens as a completely new tab. Does anyone understand the rhyme or reason there? And if so, is there a way to set a preference?

Analytics Needs - Ability to schedule reports for othersOpen

I am working to figure out how to give analytics access to others without giving them author roles.  Too much access to Guru comes with author roles and that is a slippery slope.  I was hoping to go schedule reports to send to team leaders on their individual users and I can’t do that either.  I’m in a rock and a hard place now of wanting leaders to assist in engaging their agents to utilize Guru but I can’t share great data with them without a lot of manual work.

Additional step for non-publishing verifiers

Has anyone else come across the inefficiency created when a collection has publishing workflows enabled, and a non-publishing verifier submits a ‘request to publish’, the card is not automatically verified upon publishing? Like it normally would for collections without publishing workflows enabled.Understanding that the reason is likely because the publishing user opens in draft mode so they have the opportunity to change the content without the verifier knowing. Is there a way while publishing for the system to run a check for updates in content and if no updates were made, auto-verify? Interim workaround - encourage publishers to immediately request verification after publishing because there would also be no automatic notification when a card is published (by a non-verifier publisher).

As we are creating more and more collections teams are having to scroll to be able to find the collection they need.Challenge: Collections for subject areas/departments are currently sorted based on title. So to find all collections, related to Product or HR for example is difficult.It would be great to have a way to categorize/tag collections so that they can be filtered in the All Collections view. This would help to surface collections related to a specific topic/subject/department

A little thing but one I find cropping up.... I'd really like to be able to a) add captions to images, b) include images amongst bullet points / numbering without them becoming their own bullet or messing up the numbering.

Hiya! looking for a way to share out favorites lists directly in guru as links or within the app! What is the problem? At present - you are not able to share out your favorites lists. You can only take a screen-grab or create a card with all those favorited as guru links. Who is it a problem for? Anyone who uses favorites lists How do you solve the problem today? Create a card with guru links to cards that are relevant to team members How would you ideally solve the problem? Onboarding New Employee

It would be nice to sometime send new users through an onboarding experience that they have to check off items that they’ve read. I know this is possible with knowledge alerts, but it doesn’t work well when you have a new employee specifically. I want to setup a board or something with a checklist. Can anyone share any ideas or feedback on how they’ve set it up?

Template Management PageOpen

It would be nice to have a dedicated spot in Guru for managing and creating Templates rather than only being able to access them by starting to create a new card. This is not very intuitive.Then this could allow for more options such as setting certain templates to only display for specific Groups, data on template usage, etc. For example, if we can see that a certain part of a template is consistently being removed before publishing a card, then we can tell that it should probably just be removed from the template altogether. If a template hasn’t been used to publish a card in X months, then we know that template should probably be deleted. So on and so forth.

Partnership with ScribeOpen

I was wondering if Guru could partner with Scribe because although I can embed Scribes into Guru cards, my AI Knowledge Agents can't answer questions based on any content that's embedded (currently they can only answer questions if the content's text lives directly in/on Guru, right?). Buuuut maybe through a partnership, that could change and be specific to Scribe content. Win-win-win for everyone :D

Folder level editing/authoring permissionsOpen

Wish:I’d like to have the flexibility to change permissions for single folders (formerly “boards”) within a collection so that they can be edited by folks who do not have author permission to the entire collection.  Why:I am part of our Community Management team and we own a large college for all product knowledge. We have this collection split into folders for the different areas of our product. Most of those folders align with our product teams/verticals. I want to be able to give a product team or individuals on a product team editing access to the cards within the folder related to their area of ownership, without giving them keys to our entire kingdom. I’m aware that I can split this collection into multiple collections to accomplish something similar, but that would result in a lot of collection noise. Thanks and congrats on your new community space!

GURU for non-profits

We started using GURU back when there was a free version (2021). We are a small rural library. We love that GURU has grown to be such a powerhouse, but we would also like to share our GURU success story with other libraries running on very limited budgets. Do you have a scaled-down free version I can share with other libraries, or maybe a non-profit version?
