Hi team. Apologies if this is written somewhere and I missed it but I’d like to ask if Answers can read information from tables?

We have an extensive Collection with more than 200 cards providing specific information in each card.

Our users often ask which provider to use to book flights of a certain airline and we expect that Guru AI will read the providers specified in a table but instead, it takes a piece of information from a markdown that is included in all cards.

See an example below:

Answer provided based on this markdown that is by default included in all cards in that collection:

But the correct answer should be based on information from the table:

Any suggestions how to tackle this to ensure that Guru provides the response we expect?

Hey @Lucia Delicova! Great question!

Yes, Answers can use tables to generate an answer to a question - but i think in this scenario, it doesn't have as much to do with the table as it does the frequency of the information. Since the "Manual Bookings" section that you mentioned appears so frequently, it is more likely to be considered as an answer.

I'm not sure if it got cut out, but I don't see Turkish Airlines in the table for Answers to pull from - one way to help influence Answers in this scenario might be to more clearly spell out what provider goes with each airline

Hey @Noah Carpenter thanks for getting back.

I did have a feeling that the reason might be in having the same information in all of the cards and we’ll consider removing it, so that Guru can rather take the relevant information from the table for each airline + we’ll try to spell it out in the table too, something like “Book airline] with providers” so AI can pick it up.

Thanks again!
