Right now there are two ways to navigate and create a card. The first is to drill down to the section a card should go in and “add a card inside”. The second it to use the “Create a Card” button in the top right of the screen. Using the Create a Card button will allow you to select the board that the new card should go in, but not the section within that board.
This means that our knowledge base admins have to check each board in their collections to ensure all cards are added to the appropriate section. It would be nice to allow users to add their new cards to a section either way so that our KB admins’ time is free to do more productive activities within Guru.

Now that the new Card publishing process lets you to select any level - from Collection to any of the sub-folders - while publishing, I’ll go ahead and close this idea out.
