Currently, all KA notification emails have the subject of “Knowledge Alert”. This means that if a few KAs are sent out close to each other, any email clients that have threaded emails will show it as one single item, making it easy for recipients to miss important KAs.

Currently, the team knows to be extra careful about checking their KA threads to make sure that they don’t miss anything.

However, it would be amazing if the email subject can be unique (maybe show the card title or something) so that email clients won’t put them in the same thread.

I’ve included a screenshot below, of an email sent from one of my team about this.

For context, the Monday that she’s referring to is monday.com, where we used to have our team-wide announcements (with an automation that notifies the team). We’ve since moved it to Guru so that all our info is in one place and it makes searching easier.

I think a customizable subject line for Knowledge Alerts in lieu of the generic “User has requested you read this card” would be hugely helpful! As an organization we send out a few company wide Knowledge Alerts a week and if they’re all coming from the same person its hard to distinguish what it is until you’re going in and reading it. If we could put a subject so that you know what it is at a glance it would be beneficial.

Thanks for your input @Jonathan Chua and @Carolyn Reitter! We addressed this in one of our recent updates, so I’m closing this thread. Please keep the feedback coming!
