Hi Team -

Having moved the favorites section out of the sidebar and having it under the library causes slow down each time I want to find what I need. I just have to go dig for things that I wanted favorited at my fingertips. The flow of finding pages is just much slower than it once was

Hi @Shaun Flemming

Thanks for sharing your feedback on the recent change. I have one thing that may help, and then a question.

We created keyboard shortcuts for the sections of My Library to help with the extra clicks. If using a Mac, replace alt with option . You can use these from anywhere in the web app:

  • control + alt + l (lowercase L) = moves you to the home page of My Library which is followed Cards

  • control + alt + f = Favorites

  • control + alt + r = Recently Viewed

  • control + alt + n = New Cards

I know shortcuts may not work for everyone so that brings me to my question, if we switched favorites and following within My Library so that Favorites loaded when you clicked My Library (essentially making them one click from the left-hand nav), would that help? Is it only the Favorites change of location that’s causing trouble?

Hi @Laura Desmond-Black

Thank you for taking the time to reach out on this. I could give the shortcut hotkeys a try, just remembering the flow each time will take time I am sure

I very much like your idea of the “Mi Library” taking me directly into my favorites as well. I have liked and stashed these cards and lists away very intentionally so the fewer clicks and less digging I need to do is all the better

Thanks for confirming Shaun! We’ll keep an eye out for more feedback on this.
