If you press the hamburger icon on the top left corner you can collapse the menu so you can focus more on the content. If you refresh the browser however the menu is again re-opened.
It would increase the usability if you could pin or auto-collapse the menu just like with other modern tools.

Thanks for the great suggestion! We agree that allowing the menu to remain collapsed across browser sessions leads to an improved UX, so we've implemented it! Now when you collapse the left navigation using the hamburger icon, the closed state will persist until you open it again.
