Hey Guru friends!

I am wondering how many companies utilizing Guru have a dedicated ‘knowledge management/technical writing team’ vs. opening up knowledge capture to a much wider audience?

I consider this a traditional approach vs. a crowd sourced approach.

Traditional - change management or process/knowledge changes are funnelled into the technical writing team, who then prioritize writing based on resources/bandwidth, etc. They control content with stringent content & style standards.

Crowdsource - Anyone (or everyone?) from a team/department owns the content and is empowered to update or create at any time?

What works for your teams?
