Guru Extension Tracking Behaviour

I’ve noticed that the Guru Chrome extension has started to make requests to https://js.userflow.com/es2020/userflow.js and https://api.rollbar.com/api/1/item/

While most sites have CORS policies that block these requests it would appear that the extension is now tracking user behaviour. Is this known? Did I miss a change in privacy/Ts&Cs?

Hi David,

Just wanted you to know that this is a mistake and will be removed as soon as we can get the extension through the Google Review process. We utilize UserFlow in the webapp to help people get through the free trial as well as announce new features and offer tooltips. Somehow this script got bundled in the extension, we do not want to be using UserFlow in the extension at all.

We also use Rollbar for our error reporting and I think this is also erroneously being bundled into the extension. This helps us capture and log exceptions in our app, there is no user tracking behavior with Rollbar.

Apologies for this and thank you for raising!
