While browsing this forum, I notice there are a lot of open requests/questions that are left unanswered, even if they have upvotes.

It seems like not everything is seen by the Guru-developers. Which is unfortunate, because I see a lot of helpful requests I'm interested in myself, but a lot have them have been ‘open’ for years. I understand not everything is possible, but if there's no answer, you just don't know if people have seen it.

I'm curious how this works, can you have bad luck that your post isn't seen and will be too old after some time to get attention? Is there a way to make sure you get an answer on an old post? For instance, is there someone I should tag or can I do something to signal that the question/request is still relevant now?

Any community posts/requests are likely filtered through product managers.

Hey @Maithe Vlekke !

Every idea that is submitted to the community is looked at and likely discussed by myself and folks from our dev team. That said, we have thousands of customers and hundreds of thousands of users who have more ideas than we could ever have - so implementing every idea isn’t a feasible approach for us. When an idea comes in, it’s reviewed and either moved to CLOSED (due to it not being aligned with the business) or left in OPEN. OPEN ideas are not ignored, they’re added to the list of ideas to be voted upon and monitored as they garner votes.

Right now, our focus is providing a more comprehensive product suite that incorporates the best capabilities from enterprise search, intranets and knowledge bases all wrapped into a single product to provide your team with a Single Source of Truth. Connecting your different applications together, providing generated answers from other sources of content, as well as allowing you to manage the layout, look and feel, and content of your homepage (coming soon!)

When we see an OPEN idea that aligns with those priorities, we make an effort to incorporate it as best we can - which is when we reach out to folks who’ve voted on an idea for feedback as we design a solution - but there’s no guarantee that any idea will be implemented.
