Bug: Margin misconfiguration when deleting content.

Hello Team! I would like to submit a bug report in Guru, which is sometimes triggered when I select and delete multiple words; in these cases, the margins are bugged and the text is displaced all the way to the left of the card, messing with the formatting. In addition:The only way to “remove” said bug, is to go to the previous paragraph, and use the Supr key to delete the paragraph where the bug is located. The bug removal is temporary, as it can appear once again if multiple content is selected, then deleted. This also affects the Title space of the card While it does not appear on 100% of the times we delete content, it can be triggered multiple times in the same card. Refreshing and/or restarting Guru does not solve the issue. Once the bug appears, the Delete key does not remove the typed content, unless it is previously selected. In addition, the Space key does not work in creating a new paragraph I’m attaching a screenshot as evidence, hoping it is helpful for the bug report. Lo

Can we pretty please assign verifiers by individuals instead of by groups?? :) I understand we can assign 1 individual or a full group. There are occasionally times where we want 2-3 people, but don’t want to create a group for those people.Thanks for reviewing!

Collapsible sections look wonky for non-title casesComplete

Hello! When you use the collapsible sections and the main text at the top is “normal text” rather than a title, the arrow is set just above the text instead of next to it. Small issue, but it’s not pretty and that bothers me.

Event Sharing in Guru via Homepages

We are trying to use the Guru homepage to share out information about events, etc. We do not have Google Calendar, and it seems like an O365 iframe calendar isnt really that feasible, so would love to hear what ideas people have?

Way to prevent every link from opening in a new tab?

I’m not sure if this is a setting in our specific instance, a general guru thing, or a user preference I’ve been able to locate but almost every link in a guru card opens up a new tab (they all have `target=”_blank”` in the anchor element). This is particularly frustrating when I’m going through a card with numerous links. I’ve read through the post When do Guru card links open in new tabs? but I would prefer to not have to install a Chrome extension and also use other browsers. Is there a setting somewhere that can remove the `target=”_blank”` attribute from links in a card?

Colour picker for text/card elementsOpen

Please please could we have a custom colour wheel and hex code input for elements in Guru cards (including text, highlights callout boxes etc.).It’s possible to do it with nearly every other platform (including the text UI that I’m using right now to send this message). We use markdown as a workaround at the moment but markdown doesn’t always come intuitively to new authors.

Pressing Escape While Editing a Card Should Act More LogicallyOpen

Hi. I noticed pressing escape while editing a card immediately closes it, even if there’s a popup like when inserting a link. When it closes the card it also replaces the current URL without adding it to the browser tab history so I can’t just press back to just go back to the card (I have to search for it again). Please consider making escape close popups and add to the browser tab history when the card is closed.Thanks.

Seeing a list of recently updated Guru cards in a collecitonOpen

Hi! As someone who manages knowledge for a CX team that handles a lot of complex information that is changing consistently, it would be great if in the same way there is “New” section to see new cards added to a collection, there was an “Recently Updated” section to see updated cards within the last week/two weeks (even better if time could be customizable up to a certain time frame). Right now, you have to favorite a card to be notified of updates, and it would be helpful to be notified of all updates in general within a collection. Thanks!

For the search checkboxes that appear with multiple search sources (example screenshot): It would be helpful to default them to checked (since they are already showing up in the results by default), and do something like what DataDog does with their search where on hover over any individual source row a "Only" link will appear to quickly uncheck all other boxes except for the one being hovered over, or be able to uncheck individual boxes on the left side to remove one or more sources.We are finding that we often want to filter out JIRA from our search results, which means we have to check all four other sources to see those results, but that could be done with a single unchecking of JIRA if all boxes were checked by default. This would be helpful :-)

There should be a section to view all comments made on guru cards so as to have proof of participation as well as have a location to monitor if the comments were read and/or resolved.

My team would love if we could customize the full homepage versus there being an ai suggested cards section. It would make organizing important cards & displaying them to employees much cleaner. It’s important that our employees can easily access important cards without having to search around Guru to find them.

Because Sharepoint and GoogleDrive connect at the folder-level, it would be incredibly useful if the folder names could be mapped as an additional search filtering option, as is available when directly uploading file groups.It would also be useful to have some kind of file type label incorporated into sourced results and search filtering options, instead of the file title and the source origin label.

Scheduled Activity Log Summaries Across IntegrationsOpen

Objective: Automate a summary of custom scheduled content activities—such as additions, edits, creations, and deletions—within Guru and across integrated apps.Because most of us are using a tool like Guru to understand what is happening within our organization across all the apps we use, having a regular summary snapshot of activities would be super valuable for the leadership team. Imagine a card created each day in a Daily Folder that summarizes all organizational activities, with a super summary at the top and app-level summaries below. And then a new card in a new Weekly Folder that summarizes the week, and then Quarter, and then the Year. Perhaps these summaries need not be cards, and could simply be Slack posts by the SlackBot. The idea is that instead of having to actively ask Guru what’s new, Guru instead proactively generates a summary log of activities that a user can ask refined questions about. I imagine this may be possible to create using the Guru API, and that’s what I p

We have established a scorecard for our Guru usage and one of the metrics we want to track are cards unverified for 30+ days. However, a month in we discovered that the filters we used to pull the number from Card manager (Verification state: Unverified; Last modified on or more than 30 days; Last Verified on or more than 30 days) don’t catch the cases where a card expired a week ago, wasn’t modified for some time and last verification happened more than 30 days ago due to the verification interval being longer than 30 days.We’d like to track cards that expired more than 30 days ago and were left unverified to get the right picture of truly outdated and untrusted content. Example is here:A card updated as well as verified a month ago but expired a day ago.

Analytics for comments on cardsOpen

I would love to be able to export comments as a csv file, or set up an integration so that every comment auto-updates a Google Sheet. Right now I track all the comments manually in a Google Sheet along with an actioned? column. We use it for performance reviews to highlight the contributors that keep our docs up to date.

I’d like to give feedback on user permissions. Currently, there is no role in Guru that can create Cards but not adjust verification settings. We are running into issues where team members need some permissions, but we are trying to limit verification permissions. Some kind of customizable user permissions would really allow flexibility of our team to only obtain the permissions they need, without the need for admins to go back and redo verifications/make updates that are incorrectly done by the team.

Highlight text along with different Font ColorOpen

Feature request:Instead of linking a Guru card to send the reader to another page for relevant information, I would like to have a linked section of content that would display in the card and update as the other card updates.So, for example, I have two cards that both need instructions on how to create an equipment order. I can copy/paste that information into both cards, but then if it’s updated and only changed in one section, there would be incorrect/outdated information in another card.What I propose is that I could “mirror” a section of another card within my card. So instead of linking the equipment order card and saying “go check out the equipment order section of this other card”, I could just have it display the desired section from the other card in my new card. Google has this ability in their tools. When you paste a slide from another deck, for example, it asks if you want it to be linked or independent. This feature would be so helpful to allow me to reference other relate
