Verification status not updatingOpen

Hi Guru team - When I verify a card, its status icon in the card index does not change from Unverified to Verified unless I refresh my browser window. The icon on the card itself does update, so the two conflict.

Just a head’s up that there’s a little scroll bar where I don’t think one is intended to be. Note that your window needs to be a particular size for the dashboard to appear like this - maximizing the window removes the issue:

Does Guru have a "Pass" feature in the AI Training Center?

Perhaps it’s not necessarily a “pass,” but a way to negate any AI related questions that are invalid? For example, if my staff enters a single word with a question mark after it, then the entry goes into the AI Training Center. I will then go into the AI Training Center to review and assign a status to each entry. However, there are those entries that simply don’t make sense or you know that they are irrelevlant to the type of knowledge housed in Guru for your respective line of work.For example, I enter, “Cat?”Then, I go into the AI Training Center and there are no results and no cards to connect to because we don’t work with animals.How can I remove, “Cat?”Is there a way to assign a different status other than flagged, or marked correct? I don’t want to keep “no status” entries in my list. Perhaps include a “Not applicable” option?

This one small change to tables could elevate the card viewing experienceOpen

A lot of the posts on this forum show that people often want more flexibility when creating cards.While writing a Guru card earlier today, I noticed that a simple change to how tables are created could really enhance the viewing experience...If we could add background and border colours to tables with a hex colour picker (instead of the limited colours available now), these tables could work as sections on a card, highlighting important information.For instance, if you want a card section with three neatly spaced rows, you can insert a table, set the border to match the card's background colour, add your columns, and publish.The table’s border would blend in to the card, making it less obvious as a table to the viewer.This would also let you build cards in ‘blocks’ like Notion does.Even if Guru move toward ‘block’ editing like Notion does, having tables with customisable backgrounds/borders would be desirable, so it’s not as if any time spent looking into this would be wasted if the UI

Quick jump to different workspacesOpen

Hi,We love using workspaces in Guru for our different hubs around the world, but navigating between them currently feels cumbersome, as it requires visiting three different screens just to view the workspace overview and open another one. It would be greatly beneficial if we could select a different workspace using a dropdown menu, making the process more efficient and user-friendly.

Guru Extension Tracking Behaviour

I’ve noticed that the Guru Chrome extension has started to make requests to https://js.userflow.com/es2020/userflow.js and https://api.rollbar.com/api/1/item/While most sites have CORS policies that block these requests it would appear that the extension is now tracking user behaviour. Is this known? Did I miss a change in privacy/Ts&Cs?

Ability to update default 3 month verification intervalOpen

What is the problem? Currently, cards default to 3 month verification interval and this is not changeable. Who is it a problem for? Admins who verify cards.  How do you solve the problem today? Click the verification symbol, Click the verification interval dropdown menu, select the verification interval. 3 add’l clicks on every…single…card. How would you ideally solve the problem? Allow a user to change the default setting for card verification intervals. How big is the problem (business impact, frequency of impact etc.)? Daily annoyance.

Searching for cards - results not filtered by the parameters used

Hi, Following on from my other issue which this forum helped resolve, I have a follow up query:  When we search using search terms, tags and collection ID’s the results don’t seem to be filtered down based on what is passed for anything except the search term - this doesn’t appear to be impact by which “search” end point we use. ExampleI have 2 boards with public facing cards (the only 2 that are public facing) lets call them Prod and Test:If I search via the API for public facing cards using:searchTerms  - populated with whatever the term iscollectionIds (or collectionUids) - populated with the PROD collection ID from this call (https://developer.getguru.com/reference/getv1collectionsgetcollections)tags  -  a tag that only appears on around half the cardsqueryType - cards I will get cards returned from both the PROD and TEST collections for the search term, even though we’ve specified a collection ID, which I would assume should filter down the results for only those using the collect

Create, invite, and remove users with the API

As an Admin, I would love to be able to create/invite (and remove) users through the API. Is there a way to do this? Imagine being able to set up Users directly from a list of emails in an Excel spreadsheet using Power Query. So easy and quick!

Preserving Google Slide ID in iframeOpen

Previously we were able to display specific Google Slide deck slides by keeping the slide ID in the iframe field, but it seems that it now gets erased and replaced with “preview” in order to automatically display it in preview mode. Collection Badges: Customize your Collection Icons with EmojisRelease Note

Hi again! I’m back with another feature designed to customize the look and feel of Guru. Collection owners now have the option to select a custom color and an emoji for their Collections. We’re calling these “Collection badges” and it’s another way to make Guru feel more like your company. Collection owners already have the ability to choose a custom color for each Collection they own, but here’s what’s new:When a user creates a Collection, they’ll be able to choose the color associated with that Collection. Collection owners will have the option to pick an emoji to appear on the Collection badge. Hi there. I was looking to see how I can find the person who archived a Guru card. The Help Center article states:Can I see the name of the user who archived a Card?Yes! You can see who archived a Card and when it was done in Card Manager by clicking the Displayed Attributes icon (3 horizontal rectangles), then selecting Last Modified By and Last Modified Date.https://help.getguru.com/docs/archiving-and-deleting-cards#frequently-asked-questions-about-archiving-and-deleting-cardsI’m a technical writer, so I’m very good at following instructions (and writing them). These instructions are wrong. They say “3 horizontal rectangles” but it’s actually referring to the 3 vertical rectangles, also known as the Display Card Attributes button. There is no image to help the reader understand what to look for, and there are no sets of “3 horizontal rectangles” to be found. I’m not sure if this icon changed, and the text wasn’t updated, but it shouldn’t have been this difficult to find the button. P

Problem: It's challenging when multiple people collaborate on a draft of a Guru card. Without version history, it's difficult to track changes, identify the source of errors, and revert to previous versions. Someone might accidentally erase a really important part, or two people could change the same section without realizing it. Currently, in a draft, there is also no way to retrieve content that was accidentally overwritten/deleted by someone, and would also lead to rework. Without a clear record of who made changes and when, it becomes difficult to determine what was in the original draft and why the changes were made.  How do you solve the problem today? Right now, we're trying to keep track of changes manually, but it's tough. Sometimes, Guru has glitches where a whole chunk of text gets deleted by accident. This makes it even harder to figure out what was changed and why. How would you ideally solve the problem? It would be great if Guru had a feature like Google Docs, where we c

Hi All,So I’m noticing a change where when I go to the dashboard, the search box isn't highlighted, I have to mouse over and click before i can start typing. Same happens in the extension.Compare with say, www.google.com where when you visit, the search box is pre-selected and ready to go, no need to adjust your hands off of the keyboard. I know it’s a little thing, but it does add up in improving workflow.Is this something that can be considered? Thanks.

Delete/Archive AI Training QuestionsOpen

What is the problem? Sometimes questions come through the AI training center that aren’t questions that have a clear answer. I would love if there is a way for us to clean those up, or determine aren’t priority to answer. Additionally we have submitted questions during training that are not real, and would love to option to delete them. See below - “who is the coolest person in IT? Where do I find rainbow kitties?   Who is it a problem for? Experts / admins How do you solve the problem today? No current work around - those questions just remain unanswered/unassigned without the ability to clear out our queue. How would you ideally solve the problem? Allow experts or admins to choose an option that says “will not be answering at this time”, “question is not prioritized” “question is incomplete” - or something similar to clear to queue. How big is the problem (business impact, frequency of impact etc.)? It will affect the analytics we are requesting team members to watch (# of una

How can i include a speficic url to guru knowlege base

Guru is all about knowledge.We have a lot of specific knowledge inhouse but google has even more knowledge. there are some website which have all the information we need and could almost copy paste  certain pages as cards into our GetGuru.Now if we do that we would have to update the gards evey so often to keep it updated in guru (to update guru in case changes have accured on this specific website.As getguru is an AI tool there must be a better solution to this.How do i include pecific URL’s (e.g. Government website) in our own knowledge base to make sure those websites / urls are being included in finding an answer for us.
