Show team config does nothing

I can no longer use the command “show team config” in the Guru_wiki channel. It does nothing.

What is everyone's workflow around archiving questions and dismisisng questions?

I am on the team that is responsible for answering questions in Guru and I’m happy a bit of a difficult time getting a good workflow going that feels comfortable to me. When a question comes in and I see it in the Inbox, I assign it to myself rather than my team's group then I proceed to answer with a comment and then either create a new card or answer with an existing card. Once I’ve done that then the card is answered so is the best next step to just dismiss the question from my Inbox or Archive it? If I archive a question it is not super clear where it actually goes, and if I can then view it again if necessary. Also, there’s a strangeness that occurs that if you do answer the question, sometimes it will still show as unanswered but so when you go to answer it again thinking it did not take, it will say that the question has already been answered even though it still on the main Question Inbox screen say unanswered, so I just have to trust that the answer did in fact get to the us

Can we use the API to add a ticket ID to a Guru Card?

On the update method for a card I wonder if it would be possible to add the option to add ticket IDs, in our case Zendesk to a card through the API. We are using the feature extensively now and have found usecases where we can save agents time by automatically linking their current ticket to a guru card they used.

linebreak in comments

Does anyone know if there’s a way to create a linebreak when commenting? I see that you can do it while drafting the comment, but once it sends, the comment is reformatted and there are no linebreaks which make it difficult to read. If there is no way to create linebreaks in comments, are there other solutions you’ve found that work (i.e. carrying a conversation within the card- though that doesn’t seem like best practice)?

What are your learnings, insights and recommendations on setting up GURU for a multi-national matrix organisation

Hi fellow GURU-Champs, As we are expanding our company overseas, we are setting up all our systems for the multi-national setup. Following context / situation I am trying to sort out: We are setting up our US Business Unit at the moment, global hub sits within the EU We will be able to have a data exchange between Germany and the US BU And we’d like to use one central GURU platform We’ve set up the GURU collections based on functional teams (which will collaborate within the matrix) Questions I’d like to find an answer for: Do you have best practices for the collection setup for different Business Units? Our current structure mirrors the functional team setups. However, the team setup itself in the US will be different to the EU team, and therefore, a 1:1 integration seems not to be the perfect go-to-solution. Deep Linking from QR Code

I’m wondering if anyone has come up with a solution to share a card via a QR code and when scanning the QR code get taken to the native mobile app rather than needing to sign in etc. via a web browser.We’d love to be able to share some QR codes around our office and enable our team go direct to the knowledge in the mobile app.

Metrics about card creation/updates/archived over time frames?

Is there a way to see in the Analytics tab how many cards were created updated archivedIn the last [timeframe]? I sort of hacked it together in the Card Manager for the last 30 days but I can’t see a way to know how the last 30 days compares to 3 months ago, nor account for cards getting archived/deleted. Am I missing this somewhere?

membersWithCardView missing from API results

Hello, I’ve been trying to use API to pull information about card usage. Unfortunately I only get “views”, I don’t seem to be able to get “membersWithCardView”.With SDK it seems it’s straight up not there (https://github.com/guruhq/py-sdk/blob/master/guru/data_objects.py#L780). Answer with card posts in main channel not thread? Can't delete it.

I used the Answer with Card action in Slack and instead of posting in a thread on the message, it made a HUGE reply in the main channel, reposting the entire message and the card as well. I can’t delete it either. Is this a Slack issue or a problem with the Guru actions? I use Answer with Card a lot and haven’t had this happen since the first or second time I tried it months ago.

Best Practices for Formatting Images

Though we’re practicing creating more concise cards, we’re still faced with some content that require a lengthier write up -- particularly cards detailing processes or instructions on how to complete a task. Adding screenshots add the the length of the cards. Has anyone found any tips on shortening instructional cards or ways to format imaging to help reduce card length (e.g., ability to show/hide images, specific info types can be on separate card, etc)?

Tips for creating and engaging a Knowledge Council?

Hey everyone! As you may have seen, this month’s Guru Deep Dive is all about Knowledge Councils. A Knowledge Council is a group of representatives from each of your teams that is using Guru. This Group will meet regularly to maintain Guru at the highest level and ensure it is serving the needs of each department. ClickUp Workflow?

Has anyone used a Guru knowledge base alongside ClickUp for project management? We are looking to add Guru as our home for internal wikis, but we do all of our task tracking and project management in ClickUp. It would be so ideal to be able to push questions and update check ins to ClickUp tasks for the Authors responsible. If integrations aren’t planned, does anyone know of any workarounds using something like Zapier?

How does your team use Guru & Churn0 (CS Platform)

Hi all- hoping for some advice from the community for anyone that currently uses CS platforms like ChurnZero, Gainsight, or Totango! We are onboarding ChurnZero, will help our CS team automate a lot of our playbooks, automatically serving up what steps to take, resources to share, etc with customers when certain behaviors or actions are detected. We currently have all of these resources living in Guru. My initial vision is that this content will be migrated into ChurnZero as to inform our automated “checklists”, but will refer back to Guru for more detailed information (such as call scripts to follow), and Guru will also have the high level information of what is in ChurnZero. However, I’d love to hear from any one that currently uses platforms like these, and how they have the two setup to compliment each other. Thanks!

Anyone know a way to have links to a different portion of a card? Like if i had a table of contents on the top of the card but with a links to take you to the middle section or end section?

Is there a way to automatically notify the card creator when a comment is posted without having to individually tag them? This would be similar to the functionality in Google Docs.
