Do i need to wait or any issue here first time i just tried to logged in Guru - kindly suggest

Guru is all about knowledge.We have a lot of specific knowledge inhouse but google has even more knowledge. there are some website which have all the information we need and could almost copy paste  certain pages as cards into our GetGuru.Now if we do that we would have to update the gards evey so often to keep it updated in guru (to update guru in case changes have accured on this specific website.As getguru is an AI tool there must be a better solution to this.How do i include pecific URL’s (e.g. Government website) in our own knowledge base to make sure those websites / urls are being included in finding an answer for us.  

The recent activity page and option (in the menu) have disappeared. Is this a bug?

Slack use to have a feature of reporting things from the app. Using the ellipses you were able to select ask an expert and it would flag that question and response to the appropriate person.  Will this or a similar feature come back or is it gone for good? 

Hi,Does anyone know if I can limit the amount of time for sharing Guru cards via the shareable with public link feature? Also, is there a way to limit the sharing to certain email domain users? Thanks!

I’m struggling to figure out how this works. We have a lot of Guru card links in our cards, and sometimes when we click the links it opens as a little window on top of the card we’re currently on. But sometimes it opens as a completely new tab. Does anyone understand the rhyme or reason there? And if so, is there a way to set a preference?

Has anyone else come across the inefficiency created when a collection has publishing workflows enabled, and a non-publishing verifier submits a ‘request to publish’, the card is not automatically verified upon publishing? Like it normally would for collections without publishing workflows enabled.Understanding that the reason is likely because the publishing user opens in draft mode so they have the opportunity to change the content without the verifier knowing. Is there a way while publishing for the system to run a check for updates in content and if no updates were made, auto-verify? Interim workaround - encourage publishers to immediately request verification after publishing because there would also be no automatic notification when a card is published (by a non-verifier publisher).

It would be nice to sometime send new users through an onboarding experience that they have to check off items that they’ve read. I know this is possible with knowledge alerts, but it doesn’t work well when you have a new employee specifically. I want to setup a board or something with a checklist. Can anyone share any ideas or feedback on how they’ve set it up?

Is there a way to add check boxes to a document so that it looks like a formal checklist?

We started using GURU back when there was a free version (2021). We are a small rural library. We love that GURU has grown to be such a powerhouse, but we would also like to share our GURU success story with other libraries running on very limited budgets. Do you have a scaled-down free version I can share with other libraries, or maybe a non-profit version?

I saw this article already.  But I can’t seem to get the anchor link to work in a url.  For example, if I wanted to give my colleague a url to a specific anchor, the url loads up fine, but it doesn’t anchor.Here is a more explicit example: If I put an anchor called “aboutDogs” in my guru card, when I click on the url (for example https://app.getguru.com/card/12345/animal#aboutDogs) - the url loads up fine -  but the browser doesn’t skip to the About Dogs section.How can I provide a url to an anchored section?

We just implemented a publishing workflow for the first time. When a approval request comes into my drafts for an edited card, is there a way to see what changes they made compared to the existing card? Similar to when you verify?

Hey allNew to Guru. We are looking for an all in one solution to provide our small company with an intranet of sorts to aid productivity and share updates AS WELL AS a way to onboard new team members and provide training and guidance.I have really enjoyed exploring Guru so far. I have requested a sales call, but no answer as of yet to book that in.One issue we have is we really do need to test the knowledge and understanding of our team members particularly when it comes to safety critical operating procedures. Whilst we are able to organise and document these elegantly through different libraries and cards, Guru is definitely lacking that “quiz” function to be able to get a confirmation of that team member’s understanding that we can track and record.One work-around I have seen is to make the group that needs to stay current with that operating procedure the expert for that card, and set the verification frequency to how often we need them to refresh their understanding. Hi All, My team is adding more content each day, very exciting! When a draft is shared with me and I am notified in Teams, I’m unable to read the full comment as there is no expand or “more” button from the Teams window. Where else can I go to read the message? TIA!  

I’m having problemas within the knowledge agents not responding the answers in pages, but the prompt it’s correct when testing, anyone knows how to fix?

Recently, we needed to share a policy with 250+ users and had to create a dedicated group.ChallengeManual user entry is error-prone due to formatting issues (names, commas, emails) when attempting copy/paste of excel lists. To work around this we created an Active Directory (AD) group outside Guru and synced it, but it didn’t feel practical.RequestAdding a CSV upload option for group creation would make this process faster and more reliable. Are there better alternatives we should consider?

Good afternoon all,We have been experimenting with Guru as a means to migrate our internal guidance including standard operating procedures as well as other information.As we are ISO9001-2015 certified, we are looking at how we can leverage Guru to manage our documents, forms etc..As it stands we plan to:Create a Collection ISO9001-2015, and within it a number of folders to hold the manual, policies, procedures etc..Use our sharepoint to store the master form templates for forms we need to use as part of our day-to-day activities.We believe that we can use Guru’s robust version history to ensure we have a single, verifiable source for all the ISO documentation, with the exception of the form templates that will live on sharepoint.The missing piece of the puzzle is that we may be required to have to share some of the policies or processes with external people. Only way at present is to export as a PDF. As these however are ISO documents, they should have a proper page header and footer,

In the last month or two, I’ve noticed that our Knowledge Agents always seem to be trying to reference the maximum of 10 Guru cards, or at least on questions that have been flagged as No Answer Returned. Oftentimes these are mostly completely unrelated cards, only 1 or 2 of them actually being relevant to the question that was asked. If I delete the 8-9 unrelated cards of them as sources, leaving only the 1-2 relevant ones, it does usually generate a correct answer.Was there a change made recently where Knowledge Agents always attempt to reference the largest number of cards possible, even if this means using cards that are less relevant or completely irrelevant?

Hi there! Our team is looking to utilize Guru AI, however, we would like to know how other healthcare companies are using the feature securely with PHI. Is there anyone out there using it with this particular use case? 

Since Guru pushed an update to the AI Agent Center (fka “AI Training Center”), my team is reporting highly inaccurate or nonsensical answers, and I’m having a really hard time using the training center to correct answers or pull in the proper sources. When I try to use the AI Agent Center to “boost” the proper sources, the AI is still pulling in the wrong source and giving an incorrect answer no matter what I do, so I’m unable to resolve flagged answers even though the correct answer is right there in the source documentation.The knowledge agents also seem to be responding weirdly to prompts, so I had to remove prompts and go back to the default esttings.I’ve had to instruct my team not to use AI Answers right now (which is their most-used Guru feature) and to only rely on actual source material for the time being. Is anyone else having a deprecated experience ever since the updates were pushed yesterday (May 13th)? Is there any plan to have more granular roles or permissions in Guru? Currently having to grant full Admin access to allow someone to create pages, and I don’t love that.  It would be great to be able to create custom roles with specific access. 

I see a lot of content on draft and publishing approval workflows, but I’d like to know if a really robust policy management workflow with periodic review comments and approvals retention is a capability that can exist solely within Guru, or if you need to leverage the integrations with other apps like Google docs or Confluence?  

Having a “Latest Guru cards” section in the Home screen would improve the browsing experience a lot. I usually read the Guru cards but not always favorite them. I would love to find a section called Latest or similar to know what are the newest trends.
