Hi Guru Community, My team consists of 6 members, and we work in a company that primarily uses M365 for collaboration. We rely on Teams for chat and video meetings, Outlook for emails, and SharePoint for managing shared documents. We’re looking for a solution to help us with the following: 1. Team Collaboration: We want an easy way for team members to share their work updates and discuss shared challenges or tasks. 2. Team Management: The team lead needs a clear overview of each team member's ongoing tasks and progress. However, some personal chats in Teams should be excluded from this process. 3. Meeting Summaries: We are also curious if Guru offers any AI-powered features for summarizing Teams video meetings or supports integration with other solutions that can handle this task. Given these needs, would Guru be a suitable solution for us? If not, are there integrations or additional tools you recommend using alongside Guru to meet these requirements? Thank you for your insights!

I’m new to the Guru community and am looking for tips and best use practices with all things Guru. I noticed that there was a Guru Academy tab, but when I click on it, I get a “Page not found” error. Will there be a Guru Academy available at some point? 

Hi everyone! I’m new to the Guru community and I’m looking to improve our team’s knowledge on All-things-Guru! Whether it be tools or analytics - how can I leverage this to enable our team on Guru and it’s use? More importantly, I’d love to know what strategies you all have come up with to make sure Guru stays up to date and keeping up with company knowledge overall as new products get rolled out or processes change! Would love to connect and know more! 

Problem observed: GURU Home page.Intended action: Trying to add an image/video after I mistakenly deleted the Add image ( + ) option.Problem explained: I am trying to add an image into a Content block, but enable to do so. As I was trying to add an image into the content block, I mistakenly deleted the add image/video ( + ) option, now there is no going back. All I have to do is delete the content blocks, add new ones and then redo the steps. If there is an easy way to Undo or Add image option would save me tons of time! If there is a solution to this kindly let me know, if not, @Guru Product Team this section needs some work. I propose my suggestions. Is there a way to automate the Birthday’s of the employee’s, work anniversaries, employee spotlight section etc. In GURU main dashboard? If not, this feature could be useful to create engagement within the company and get users hooked to the application. 

Does any one know of a way to order featured cards in the guru content block within custom pages?Or do you have to re-enter the cards each time to get the order you want?

I’m tinkering around with using Knowledge Triggers from the browser extension on Salesforce for a call centre client. For some reason, the don’t get triggered when I am on a call (using SF Service Cloud Voice), even though the right keyword is there on the SF screen, but as soon as the call ends, the trigger shows up. Any ideas why this happening?  It’s an important one cause we want to be able to surface the right Guru articles for their call centre agents while they are taking calls, so using the keywords on the SF screens to try and trigger this. Any help is much appreciated! 

Hi all! I add a couple of quick questions for the group. Is there a way to automatically alphabetize sections / groups? Also is there any way to show the last updated/verified timestamp on the front of the card? To clarify, one user doesn't want to click the card then click Details he was hoping we could potentially put the last verified timestamp on the front of the card itself. Let me know, thank you!

We use Canny for feature requests. It would be great if these were searchable in Guru.  

Perhaps it’s not necessarily a “pass,” but a way to negate any AI related questions that are invalid? For example, if my staff enters a single word with a question mark after it, then the entry goes into the AI Training Center. I will then go into the AI Training Center to review and assign a status to each entry. However, there are those entries that simply don’t make sense or you know that they are irrelevlant to the type of knowledge housed in Guru for your respective line of work.For example, I enter, “Cat?”Then, I go into the AI Training Center and there are no results and no cards to connect to because we don’t work with animals.How can I remove, “Cat?”Is there a way to assign a different status other than flagged, or marked correct? I don’t want to keep “no status” entries in my list. Perhaps include a “Not applicable” option?

I’ve noticed that the Guru Chrome extension has started to make requests to https://js.userflow.com/es2020/userflow.js and https://api.rollbar.com/api/1/item/While most sites have CORS policies that block these requests it would appear that the extension is now tracking user behaviour. Is this known? Did I miss a change in privacy/Ts&Cs?

Hi, Following on from my other issue which this forum helped resolve, I have a follow up query:  When we search using search terms, tags and collection ID’s the results don’t seem to be filtered down based on what is passed for anything except the search term - this doesn’t appear to be impact by which “search” end point we use. ExampleI have 2 boards with public facing cards (the only 2 that are public facing) lets call them Prod and Test:If I search via the API for public facing cards using:searchTerms  - populated with whatever the term iscollectionIds (or collectionUids) - populated with the PROD collection ID from this call (https://developer.getguru.com/reference/getv1collectionsgetcollections)tags  -  a tag that only appears on around half the cardsqueryType - cards I will get cards returned from both the PROD and TEST collections for the search term, even though we’ve specified a collection ID, which I would assume should filter down the results for only those using the collect

As an Admin, I would love to be able to create/invite (and remove) users through the API. Is there a way to do this? Imagine being able to set up Users directly from a list of emails in an Excel spreadsheet using Power Query. So easy and quick!

We would like the ability to share individual pages of content rather than having to sync entire sections of our Notion Database. 

Hi, We’re trying to retrieve certain cards from a collection based on whether they have a specific tag present, but we’re not having much luck. Example body below using “search for cards using JSON Query” - if we search without the “query block” below, we get results, if we search with it we get an “error parsing JSON body” response{"query": {    "type": "tag",    "op": "EXISTS",    "ids": [      "TAGNAME"    ] }  "searchTerms": "search string",  "queryType": "cards",  "collectionIds": [    "COLLECTIONID"  ]} Any help would be appreciated

Hello - How do I verify a card but not change the future verifier? For example in this attached screen shot - I am in this group called “guru- guru system admin” but I con’t verify this card without changing the verifier to myself as an individual.I am missing something here and I am not sure what it is.  

Hello Team! I would like to submit a bug report in Guru, which is sometimes triggered when I select and delete multiple words; in these cases, the margins are bugged and the text is displaced all the way to the left of the card, messing with the formatting. In addition:The only way to “remove” said bug, is to go to the previous paragraph, and use the Supr key to delete the paragraph where the bug is located. The bug removal is temporary, as it can appear once again if multiple content is selected, then deleted. This also affects the Title space of the card While it does not appear on 100% of the times we delete content, it can be triggered multiple times in the same card. Refreshing and/or restarting Guru does not solve the issue. Once the bug appears, the Delete key does not remove the typed content, unless it is previously selected. In addition, the Space key does not work in creating a new paragraph I’m attaching a screenshot as evidence, hoping it is helpful for the bug report. Lo

We are trying to use the Guru homepage to share out information about events, etc. We do not have Google Calendar, and it seems like an O365 iframe calendar isnt really that feasible, so would love to hear what ideas people have?

I tried out Suggested Answers in Slack and have three major complaints…It answers every question posted, regardless of whether it has an answer or not. This is super annoying because many questions in slack are not related to wiki/intranet (i.e. “what do yall think of X?” or “anyone have a problem with doing Y?”). It would be much better if the bot would only answer questions that it finds a decent answer for. I am unable to disable Suggested Answers in Slack! I tried disabling it by removing the channel in Settings → Apps & Integrations → Apps → Slack → Manage → Suggested answers. I  then also tried kicking the bot from the channel and re-adding it. Both attempts failed and the bot still tried answer every single question posted in the channel. Finally I removed the app integration from Slack entirely, which leads me to my final complaint… The app was successfully removed from Slack, however it still shows up as installed in Guru. So when I try to reinstall the app it just brings

I’m not sure if this is a setting in our specific instance, a general guru thing, or a user preference I’ve been able to locate but almost every link in a guru card opens up a new tab (they all have `target=”_blank”` in the anchor element). This is particularly frustrating when I’m going through a card with numerous links. I’ve read through the post When do Guru card links open in new tabs? but I would prefer to not have to install a Chrome extension and also use other browsers. Is there a setting somewhere that can remove the `target=”_blank”` attribute from links in a card?

Can anyone share the most helpful video for training new Guru users?  I’ve seen lots of documentation but would love a training video that concisely shows how to search content, create new cards, follow/favorite, etc.

Example:Folder 1 (parent)Folder 2(child)we have to create a card and add it to the Folder 2.how can we change the folder for already existing cards?
