Does anyone know of a way to automatically locate broken links that are in guru cards?Right now, it’s a manual process for us.Ideally, I could receive a report that would locate the exact links, putting them in a list.But it would be helpful to get a list of cards with broken links in them.Does anyone have solution?

Is it possible to expose a Collection as a Pubic URL, so the anonymous user can browser the Collection, the UI (i.e. Card & Folder Heriachy), and view public cards & use the search function to find public cards in the collection. Currently only individual cards can be made public, via individual URLs.This would be incredibly powerful, and would eliminate some clunky Help Center Software (i.e. Zendesk etc), and allow for one internal and one external information platform, and then Guru can start competing with Help Center Products :)

Has anyone else had an issue with the Chrome Extension automatically closing cards automatically? How can we bypass this?  The Chrome Extension is the main way our staff accesses information in Guru, so having the windows close is a real impasse here. 

Hello, Our team loves the new Guru Answers feature, which is great! I’m always for making knowledge access easier. However, I’m concerned that this feature may negatively impact our KCS program in the long run. I am looking for best practices on how we can ensure that our agents are creating cards based on specific problems, instead of solely relying on the response of the AI.I know this is an enablement/training problem on our end. Therefore, I would love to hear how other organizations are tackling this problem.  Example scenario: The answer to a customer question is found deep within a card that was not created to capture the resolution of that specific problem. Normally an agent would create a new card to capture the specific problem so we can start gathering data on how common that problem is. With the AI, I’ve seen a pattern where the agents will find the correct answer but do not split out the information or create new cards to ensure it is findable, reusable, and we can collect

To help determine quality of responses and find which cards need to be updated, I would love it if Answers reporting also included the response to the prompt entered by the user. 

Can anyone tell me why `verificationReasons` from the cards endpoints (both https://api.getguru.com/api/v1/cards/some-card-id and https://api.getguru.com/api/v1/cards/slug) sometimes returns as an empty array for unverified cards? I have a script that checks for cards that are unverified due to being stale, usually referred to as "EXPIRED" in verificationReasons. Checking for expired works fine for most cards, but there are some instances where an expired card doesn't have this designation. I assume the information is coming from somewhere since the web app is able to render these cards as expired despite the empty array, but I'm not sure how. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Hello! I am attempting to use the Zapier zap where a user is added automatically to a Slack channel when their group is added/adjusted in Guru.  I’m stuck on the step asking for a user. I see every user currently in our Slack instance as an option. It’s a required field. Is it possible to set up this zap so that anytime ANY Guru has their team adjusted, they’re added to corresponding Slack channels? Or do I have to set up this zap for specific users each time?   

We have a card that we’d like to send an announcement about every 2 weeks. I know we can schedule announcements, but could we make them recurring? Or will we always have to schedule a group of them and remember to come back and schedule more? 

Hello there, I hope this is the right place to ask such a question!We are looking for a easy to use low/no code cms which has website drag and drop feauture and can handle a user database with unlimited members and millions of traffic in the long run. It also needs to be fully customizable for developers so we can add anything we need going forward.We are in the process of finding agencies which can help us make our membership database. We just need to know which cms is a good choice. We have looked at the following: Worpress, Drupal, builder.io, webflow, strapi and directus. Is there something else out there or what do you guys recommend?I am not a coder nor do I know much about software, we are in the process of finding a fullstack developer to help us with this but I thought maybe this forum would give us a head start. Hi Guru folks!We have recently embedded two very important Google files into Guru cards so our users don’t have to have them bookmarked and can easily navigate them from the Guru card.Quite a lot of our users reported that when they open the Guru card, they are unable to see the embedded file, however, if they open the same file from the link from their bookmark, it works ok.Any ideas what might be the issue and how to fix it? We have approx 1200 users that need to have access to the file. Thanks!

Hi Guru Community! My team and I are working on optimizing onboarding flows, using our HRIS and Guru. We are currently trying to figure out if there is a possible automation we can set up (using Zapier or another similar platform) in which we can auto-trigger a certain card to be sent as an Announcement to a User, right after that User account is activated on Guru.I know this is not currently available as a Guru feature, but has anyone done something similar with Guru (using a separate platform/workaround) who has insight on how to set this up? Thanks for any support!

I need to remove users.  I used the document provided.  It states to click on the ellipses next to the users name to remove.  My users do not have the ellipses.How do I get my users deleted?

Hello!  Our acknowledgment rate for announcements is not as high as I’d like to see so I am investigating alternative avenues for someone to acknowledge they’ve read announcements outside of the one option today. The reminder three days later is great but it’s not enough. So, I was poking into creating an automation in Zapier and would love to see a new acknowledge announcement event from a trigger. What I am thinking: New Guru announcement creates a channel message in Slack tagging applicable user groups that received announcement.  Users view the card and reads the card content directly in slack message User leaves an emoji reaction to the message and that marks that they have clicked “I read it” thus acknowledging said announcement. This would further reinforce the slack and guru integration where many of my team receives and reads announcements (many of which don’t require opening the guru site or chrome extension) Has anyone figured out how to do this? If not, I would love to see

On a guru card, from the example below, how can I have users be able to copy “these words” and only “these words” to the clipboard by simply clicking once on “these words”?  No click dragging, then ctrl +C,  No triple clicking either.  Just click once and “these words” are copied to your clipboard.example: copy these words, not these words to your clipboard and be sure not to include the comma.

Our company’s primary languages are C# and TypeScript. However, I write exclusively in C# and therefore the example code I add to my cards are also written exclusively in C# and not Plan Text.In other words, when I type “/Code” I want the language to default to “C#”. How can I change the default language from “Plan Text”  to C# for my account only without affecting anyone else’s settings would be best but we would take changing it company wide if need be as well.

Is there a way to either remove the “Users who viewed this Card also viewed:” section from a card?  And, if not, is there a way to correct the suggested cards?

I am trying to create a new card and add it to a specific board. Here is the code I have. Everything is working correctly, but I am not able to get the card to show up on the board.collection: { id: 'COLLECTIONID' }, preferredPhrase: 'My New Card', content: 'The content for my card', shareStatus: 'TEAM', boards: [{ action: { actionType: 'add', id: 'BOARDID' } }] 

I am using PBI to access GURU API and I am unable to retrieve the LINK to the next results page.

Hello there…I couldn’t quite find an answer to this here in Community, and perhaps didn’t look too hard; but… I have 18 cards I need to verify in my “To Review” Tasks — but they’re all cards from the original Guru Collections that were pre-installed (“Welcome to Guru!” and “Templates for product enablement”).As they were “Made by Guru,” I don’t have edit or verifier access to any of these cards. Is there a way for these to be verified… or even deleted? Thanks for any info!Lloyd

Hello…As I imported all our Confluence information over to Guru, I am set as the author of all the resulting cards in Guru. However, I now need to set authorship to the actual owners of the information. How do I do this? I know I can set verifiers for each card… but couldn’t figure out (or find) how to do this for AUTHORSHIP.Thanks for any feedback!Lloyd

I’ve looked at the new analytics (card level and the dashboard) and I don’t see a way to see who has verified a single card for all of its history. From the card’s revision history, I’ve noticed that if someone doesn’t make any edits to a card when they verify, it doesn’t record it in the revision history. And the card only let’s you see the most recent Verifier/verified date. Am I missing a way to see who else has verified a card in the past before the most recent verification? Thank you!! 

Hi all!Would anyone know if there are any settings/options around the naming of files in a Guru Collection export? I have just exported a large collection and by the looks of things there are a few issues:All cards within the .zip file provided by the export show up as .html files named with an unique identifying alphanumeric string (e.g.”a83db669-556f-4a00-9552-f436f95893bd”) instead of the actual name of the card. This makes it very difficult to identify a particular card in the folder. Furthermore images and videos within cards are separated out into a different folder named ‘resources’, where some of the images are named with the same ID as the card, but others from the same card have a completely different name (e.g. ‘doc0_image4). This makes it a really impossible task to identify which image, audio, and video files belong to which card. Lastly, SOME cards also have a .yaml file with the same name. All these files contain is the title of that card, separated out from the main bod
