Is it possible to search Guru Cards in the Archived section?

We are migrating articles from an in-house SQL database to Guru. We want to retain the dateCreate and lastModified dates from our database. I tried to set these values using the Card create & update API’s, but my passed values were ignored.

Is there a way to exclude cards with a specific tag in your search? For example if we mark cards with #experiment because they're part of a test, can we then search and exclude that tag?

 Is there a way for me to move cards to another collection without using APIs?Ta​​​​​​hank you

During our trial period, we are currently exploring the various features of Guru. I have come to understand that in order to search for knowledge base articles within Slack, we can either type "@guru" or "/guru" followed by the desired content. By doing so, Guru will retrieve all relevant information from its knowledge base and display it within Slack.However, I am curious if there is an alternative method where we can use a custom emoji instead of "@guru" or "/guru" to initiate this process. If such an option exists, could you kindly explain how it works? This would be a significant feature for us moving forward with Guru. Thank you for your assistance.

Is there a way to prevent ordered lists from restarting at 1 when they are separated by an image? I put screenshots between ordered list items and I don't want the list to restart. Thank you!

Hello there,we would like to publish cards via the REST API. The content of those cards should be a mix of text and images. As I'm new to the API and not too experienced with these topics, here my very basic question:How to upload images via the REST API to be used on a card?The documentation shows that it is possible to attach objects, but properties such as “id” or “link” suggest that the attachment has to be already uploaded. Are these optional parameters just for the case one wants to use an already uploaded file?Are the images expected to be embedded in a multipart post-request? If yes, how to reference them in the html sources?As an example, when using the WordPress REST API, one can upload each image individually and receive an ID and URL for each image. This can then get incorporated in the source when eventually publishing the post. How is this realized with the Guru API?Many thanks in advance!

Is there some way to move the “Templates for product enablement” collection into/inside the main “Welcome to Guru!” collection?  

Hi all - The “Card File Link Viewed” is one of the many actions the analytics tracks. We don’t have any files attached to our cards, so I’m wondering what else this action might include or reflect that I’m not considering, as we definitely show records of the action. Many thanks!

Hi Guru team!Per this page regarding announcement, any user regardless of the role can view and download readership report from the Announcements section in the Card history. We are figuring out a way how Team Leaders in our department can see these data for their teams without us giving them the Collection Owner roles - we checked with a couple of our Read only users if they can access and download that data, however, when they click Export data, they get an error message Export unsuccessful.Is this expected behaviour, meaning the Read only users can view the data but not export it or is it actually a bug? Thanks!

We’re trying to use Guru for policy management, employee handbooks etc. Is there a way to record a signature or acknowledgement that someone has read a specific card or section of content?

Hi everyone, I am on the Guru trial now with the hopes of rolling it our to sales and CS teams at the end of the month. A question has come up regarding the Slack integration:If Guru is added to a Slack channel (ex: Sales-help), does everyone need to be a paid user in Guru in order to interact with channel by asking questions and viewing answers?  Thanks!

Hi team! We’ve noticed that we no longer can copy whole tables and paste the content in another card to a new table.Previously, when pasted, the table content and format was replicated exactly as it was copied. What happens now is that the whole content is inserted into one cell.Is this expected behaviour and is there some reason why Guru no longer supports copy&paste of table contents? 

Hey all,Know this thread was in play ~1 year ago, but curious if anything has changed/is changing with syncing only specific pages from a Confluence space to Guru. I have a number of teams that are living in Confluence and trying to get their info in via the feed, but there are just some items that shouldn’t live there. If there isn’t, curious how successful anyone here has been with delineating when something belongs in the Product Guru collection vs. when it stays in Confluence. Thanks!

Has anyone else had an issue with the Chrome Extension automatically closing cards automatically? How can we bypass this?  The Chrome Extension is the main way our staff accesses information in Guru, so having the windows close is a real impasse here. 

To help determine quality of responses and find which cards need to be updated, I would love it if Answers reporting also included the response to the prompt entered by the user. 

Hello! I am attempting to use the Zapier zap where a user is added automatically to a Slack channel when their group is added/adjusted in Guru.  I’m stuck on the step asking for a user. I see every user currently in our Slack instance as an option. It’s a required field. Is it possible to set up this zap so that anytime ANY Guru has their team adjusted, they’re added to corresponding Slack channels? Or do I have to set up this zap for specific users each time?

Hi Guru Community! My team and I are working on optimizing onboarding flows, using our HRIS and Guru. We are currently trying to figure out if there is a possible automation we can set up (using Zapier or another similar platform) in which we can auto-trigger a certain card to be sent as an Announcement to a User, right after that User account is activated on Guru.I know this is not currently available as a Guru feature, but has anyone done something similar with Guru (using a separate platform/workaround) who has insight on how to set this up? Thanks for any support!

I need to remove users.  I used the document provided.  It states to click on the ellipses next to the users name to remove.  My users do not have the ellipses.How do I get my users deleted?

I am trying to create a new card and add it to a specific board. Here is the code I have. Hello there…I couldn’t quite find an answer to this here in Community, and perhaps didn’t look too hard; but… I have 18 cards I need to verify in my “To Review” Tasks — but they’re all cards from the original Guru Collections that were pre-installed (“Welcome to Guru!” and “Templates for product enablement”).As they were “Made by Guru,” I don’t have edit or verifier access to any of these cards. Is there a way for these to be verified… or even deleted? Thanks for any info!Lloyd
