Hello…As I imported all our Confluence information over to Guru, I am set as the author of all the resulting cards in Guru. However, I now need to set authorship to the actual owners of the information. How do I do this? I know I can set verifiers for each card… but couldn’t figure out (or find) how to do this for AUTHORSHIP.Thanks for any feedback!Lloyd

Hi, Assume we have long page of GURU card with very long steps and process flows..Can we have AI chat Box where by user can type in simply what they want to search & point to.So that AI will provide summary and point direction the information we looking for. Now Chat GPT works likes its search the information from varies search engine & provide us the summary or scrip or information we need. We need similar this feature to be in GURU.The reason why we asking this, we have too many cards almost 1000 within one collection. So, the bot might can help to provide summary or simply the steps for the users. ThanksRagunathan

Is it possible to update an existing card from Slack?  For ex, if there’s a card with weekly updates and we want to append another update. Existing card has: Updates for week of July 1July 2 Bananas in the break room July 3 Stop using reply-all about the bananas in the break room And then on Slack on July 4 there’s a message that we want to be added at the end: “We’re getting apples tomorrow!” How can we send that message so that the card would then look like this, with the new update at the end? Would this be a Zap?  Updates for week of July 1July 2 Bananas in the break room July 3 Stop using reply-all about the bananas in the break room July 4 We’re getting apples tomorrow!   

Is there a way to embed a link in a picture, to make a button?

I’m trying to download all of my cards in a given collection using the API. I’m using the following command:curl -u COLLECTION ID:COLLECTION TOKEN \    --request GET \    --url "https://api.getguru.com/api/v1/search/query" \    --header 'accept: application/json' This works, but the JSON I get back doesn’t include the titles. I get the id, content, and a ton of other information for each card, but no titles (one of the three properties I actually need here). 😔 Is this a bug in Guru’s API? Or does anybody know how to specifically request the inclusion of the title property?

My organization uses Linear to streamline software projects, sprints, tasks, and bug tracking. It performs the same function as JIRA.Is there any way to connect Linear to Guru in order to autogenerate cards around bugs tracking?

is there a way to share out a group of guru cards publicly at a board or collection level or can you only create individual links for specific cards and share those?

Hello! I’m passing this feedback along on behalf of one of our agents:    What is the problem? “Guru Link Copied” removes the ability for users to see card preview in extension (photo below)  Steps to recreate:  Open extension  Click the “copy link” icon in any card > black background and “Guru Link Copied” text replaces the card preview  Wait about ten seconds  Click the black background and “Guru Link Copied” text > preview appears to left of the extension  Option to click preview to see the card  Who is it a problem for? Guru searchers  How do you solve the problem today? Waiting ten seconds seems to allow the user to click the black background and “Guru Link Copied” text, though this is not intuitive  How would you ideally solve the problem? Have “Card Link Copied” text appear in such a way that does not prevent viewing of the card preview  How big is the problem (business impact, frequency of impact etc.)? Minimal / Low impact. Howdy team, I was trying to reorder some cards within a section, and I can’t seem to do it anymore it appears that the UI for dragging and dropping cards from one location to another also seems to not be working for me anymore either so I’m having to go:to a section » Add existing card » search for the card » go to the original card location » remove from existing boardIt’s so many extra steps as opposed to the ol drag and drop. I just don’t know if this is a me problem or a wider problem.Is there a generic sort feature that I’m just really not seeing 😂

A maximum of 25 collections will be returned. If more than 25 collections exist, a link to the next page of results will be included in the Link header We need to retrieve all collections so the current functionality works in our favour, but if this gets corrected, it will cause a breaking change in our app.Does anyone know the current max results per page, or if there even is one? Many thanksJosh

Hey Guru Wizards!You cannot go anywhere without hearing about OpenAI and ChatGPT. I’ve seen some really cool applications for the tool and even cooler integrations with tools.I started to think about how an integration between ChatGPT and Guru could be helpful. I think of it working like the ChatGPT chatbot, but being able to pull knowledge from your Guru knowledge base to inform its response when you ask it a question and give you the links to the cards it synthesized its answer from. Anyone else thinking about this? Anyone  at Guru testing out potential use cases? Would love to start a discussion if there hasn’t been one started already! 

Is it possible to create a clone of an existing card?  I am looking for a way to have the same card exist in two different collections and/or boards so that the content is the same and any future edits to either card would be reflected on both cards?

Hey! What would be really beneficial is being able to use “AND” statements in the Knowledge Trigger setup. For instance, we have different processes for False Positive investigations depending on the product - so we could have have IF Conidition 1 is ProductA AND IF Condition 2 is “False Positive” use this Knowledge Assignment.It would really let us customise and recommend content in specific situations, while the ML learns what to recommend at specific times.

When I have my Slack notifications turned on, and one of my groups is asked a question through Ask an Expert I appear to be getting duplicate notifications.  Below are some examples.  Is this working as intended, or is there a setting turned on somewhere that I need to turn off?

Hey guru Community?I would like to know the general rule of announcement notification. Is it available via Slack, email, and chrome extension? I didn't receive an email for the announcement, but some of my teammates did - Slack is the only way I get notified or I can see it in Chrome. ThanksA

Is there a best practice to prevent the Guru Announcement notifications from going into spam?

We use Microsoft Sway for our newsletters, which look great. Is there a way to embed something like that into a card? We’d like to use Guru to distribute and archive our monthly internal newsletters, but I’d like a little more integration than just pasting a series of links onto a card. Any suggestions?

I made a GET call to https://api.getguru.com/api/v1/cards/{cardId}/comments, but when I look through the returned data, it only goes one reply deep AND it only shows the most recent reply in a comment thread, even though there might be 3 replies total.Am I doing something wrong? Is there a different API call I need to make to get all replies?

Hi everyone: I’ve recently started experimenting with Guru for knowledge base for some of our company’s functions and seems like a great tool - still learning it but like it a lot.We use make.com for quite a few integrations in lieu of directly programming API calls and I wondered iff anyone had explored this as I didn’t see GetGuru as an option within the Make.com/Integromat integrations.  I noticed some stuff about Zapier, which we have also used but are most comfortable with the Make/Integromat system

Hello! We had a situation come up where a team verified a set of cards, but told us afterward that the verifier should be changed to someone else going forward.From my experience, changing a verifier will automatically unverify the card. I would rather not undo this team’s work of verifying these cards once I change the verifier. So I’m wondering if there’s a way I could change the verifier but keep the verified status on the cards.Thank you!

Is it possible to bulk reassign cards to another person, and keep the verification dates the same? For example, we have a Guru Admin. That person has about 100 cards assigned to them and we want to transfer ownership of them to another person. How can we do this in bulk, and keep the verification dates as is?

I”m wondering what’s the process for reassigning cards verification when an employee leaves the company or their account is deactivated due to a longer leave? Is there an automatic process running in the backend? Can it be changed or adjusted?We’ve seen cards being assigned to a collection owners’ group for verification but we try to avoid having groups as verifiers for the lack of accountability. It would be ideal to assign it to a manager, for example.
