Curious if any folks have leveraged or are thinking about leveraging Guru Analytics data in their team or employee performance reviews? 🤔As a people manager at Guru I’ve used the following metrics as discussion points for my teams’ reviews ands its been really cool to see these numbers evolve and change over time. They are also great metrics to track for individual goal setting. # of New Cards created -- are they actively contributing to the KB? (I use the Author filter and date filter in the Card Manager to see this in a specified time frame) Trust Score of Cards they Verify - are they keeping things up to date? (I use Verifier filter in Card manager to get Card Count and then filter for Verification state to get # trusted vs. # unverified) Top Cards Viewed - what is their go-to knowledge? Do they need more training on X topic? (I use the User Drilldown in Analytics and the “Most Viewed” Card list and adjust the date filters)

Hi everyone,I‘m looking for some ideas on how some organizations managed to promote and make a use of the ask an expert function in Guru? We’re trying to promote it to make sure that the creation of knowledge is trackable and easier for our teams. But we often hear a valid point that when you’re asking in Guru, you can either ask a specific person or the entire collection which may be tens of people. It’s intimidating to ask one person if you’re not sure who to ask and there’s lack of accountability if you ask 20 people.Does anyone have any use story of how to motivate people to use the Ask an Expert function? For example more granular user groups? But with that comes the question of sustainability and maintenance. Thanks for nay idea. Will be SUPER appreciated!

Hi guys!! Whenever I change a card’s verifier into myself, the card gets verified automaticaly (even if it was unverified originally). We ran into problems because we changed the verifier for 30++ cards in Card Manager, and I reassigned some unverified cards to me so I can be the one to review. but then they got automatically verified. Since it was 30++ cards it’s hard to track which cards should be tagged as unverified. Is there a way to maintain the verification state when I assign a card to myself? 

Hi All-  new to Guru.  I created a card and didn’t realize that I had to change the verifier from myself to someone else.  I created the card and published it.   How can I go back in and Change the verifier without have to re-create the card?  It doesn’t seem to give the the option to do that, but I am sure I am just missing a step somewhere. ThanksTracy

I have a card that is set to public, and I can access the link directly without logging in. However, when I embed the same card into a webpage it asks me to login.How do I allow my clients to see this embedded card without creating an account?

I am in a professional organization consisting of multiple separate owners.  We would like to interact with each other in Guru, but each have our own team members that are billed separately to each owner. Is this possible?

Hello, we have just launched Getguru internally and started looking into cards, boards, collections etc. We have a website that’s continously updated, with all our team members, and I would like to link and embed to that page in a card, as to avoid doing double work. Good morning.  My name is Rob Mueller and I’m spearheading the launch of Guru for the Clean Energy Sales Team (50 seats to start) with my company, Generac. We are starting the 30 day implementation package with Guru this week.  Looking for advice or best practices to get going or community threads here that are valuable for newbies.  We have been using the free version of Guru for the past 30 days.A little but about Generac Clean Energy: This division at Generac (Wisconsin) was created in 2019 with the purchase of 2 company’s, Pika Energy (whom I work for in Portland, Maine) and Neurio (Vancouver, BC).  We have since grown with the acquisition of a few more companies with lots of employees and information in many, many silos.  Seeing a huge opportunity we were able to get approved to get Guru with 50 seats to start.  This will be a pilot with the hopes that it will be adopted by a wider audience going forward.  Thanks in advance for your time with this.  Really looking forward to getti

Hey Guru network! We are switching out from Skilljar to a new LMS this year. A big factor for us is how well the LMS integrates with Guru. I’m curious if anyone has a LMS that you really like, and that works well with Guru! We are currently evaluating systems like WorkRamp, Intellum, and WorkDay. Does anyone use these with Guru and have any feedback? Any additional tools that you’d recommend? Thanks! 

The president of our company reached out to me, asking for department stats. Now, we all know Guru is much more than that in their reporting, so would be great if people have insight into what types of analytics they presented to executive teams that have requested information.Did you compile into a dashboard? Did you compile in a presentation? I just wanted to crowdsource ideas for this!

Question: I know that it's possible to create card template's, but is it possible to create board template's? i.e if I want to create several boards (in hundreds) with the same sections and same description of the board, it would be massive time saving to create those boards from a template. The exact use case is a board per customer, where information specific to each would live, i.e troubleshooting/procedures etc only relevant to that customer.

This simple verification checklist helps you evaluate any Card with a knowledge manager’s lens. 🧐When verifying a Guru card, always check these 5 things:Is the verifier correct?Should I be the sole verifier of this card, or would it be better to share the responsibility with a Group I'm in? Is someone else on my team now the expert on this topic? If it’s at all unclear, @ mention the user in a comment on the Card to discuss.Is the verification interval correct?Did anything change from the last time I verified this Card? If not, make the verification interval longer. Have a lot of things changed since the last time I verified this Card? We are using the Guru Knewsletter template and really love it. Our previous solution was more of a deck someone presented on video and was dynamic and had a lot of fun design elements. I’m feeling a little stuck thinking how to bring our card to life and still be fun. I was thinking of maybe creating some graphics on Canva for headers for the different sections or adding gifs, but just feeling a little lost. If anyone else has been successful in hacking any fun design elements, I’d love to see your work. Thanks so much

I can no longer use the command “show team config” in the Guru_wiki channel. It does nothing.

I am on the team that is responsible for answering questions in Guru and I’m happy a bit of a difficult time getting a good workflow going that feels comfortable to me.  When a question comes in and I see it in the Inbox, I assign it to myself rather than my team's group then I proceed to answer with a comment and then either create a new card or answer with an existing card.  Once I’ve done that then the card is answered so is the best next step to just dismiss the question from my Inbox or Archive it? If I archive a question it is not super clear where it actually goes, and if I can then view it again if necessary. Also, there’s a strangeness that occurs that if you do answer the question, sometimes it will still show as unanswered but so when you go to answer it again thinking it did not take, it will say that the question has already been answered even though it still on the main Question Inbox screen say unanswered, so I just have to trust that the answer did in fact get to the us
